Absolutely the best bakery in the world! I love everything they have they are the kindest people! Fresh bread every time I've gone and smells heavenly!

It's not just a name, there seems to be a consensus that El Mejor Pan makes the best pan in Laredo...

The name says it all. I always have to stop by when I come down from San Antonio! Great service, great bread, great price. Love it!!

I have been tasting "Conchas" all my life, and this is the best "Conchas"I have tasted; the concha melts in your mouth and does not crumble when you cut in half. El Mejor pan is one of Laredo's top bakeries that does not take advantage of your dollars since they keep their prices low. So everybody can appreciate their sweet bread.

If you are in Laredo and are looking for sweet bread this is a good place to go. Inexpensive and delicious.

Best pan dulce anywhere! El regalo de chocolate is usually a special order but it does not dissolve.It is the same excellent service since I can remember.

El Mejor Pan is my go-to panederia every time I'm back in Laredo. I think they make the best regalos in town because they are soft, filled with a generous amount of jelly and have the perfect amount of sugar coating. While there we were attended to by the owner's grandson who provided stellar customer service. I just hope they are able to replace their outdoor sign soon, as it was destroyed.

One of Laredo's treasures! Every time I walk in the front door the pleasant smell of sweet bread draws you in effortlessly. Perhaps the empanadas are your favorite, either pineapple or pumpkin are equally delicious. The unique taste of the pumpkin ones is reminiscent of the original flavors my grandparents bought in old Mexico and consequently we grew up around. El Mejor Pan truly lives up to its name. I highly recommend trying a little of each and you will find your true favorite, as I just did today when Giovanni handed me a warm white concha that never made it home!!

I have loved El Mejor Pan Bakery since I was a 7 years old. I used to live in Laredo in the 70's and this bakery is still baking the BEST pastries ever!!

Best conchas on the planet! I have eaten conchas from many different bakeries thru out my life and I'm over 60 now,and none have come close to the conchas here.They are definitely the best in the world!
