El Guero Loco Mexican Restaurant

Yummy food - all 4 of us loved our breakfast: Migas plate, huevos rancheros plate, pancakes, and french toast. Also, they had a movie playing on one of the tv's. The sever noticed we were leaning over to watch, so she helped us move tables. Very friendly! We'd come here again for sure.

The food is always delicious. The service is always friendly. It's one of the few spots to eat the neighborhood has, so I appreciate their service. Their cafe de olla is delicious, and so is their papa ranchera with cheese taco.

Food was ok. We got two tortas that came with beans, meat, lettuce, Crema and guacamole. They barley filled the torta it was more bread then meat and barley had any beans. The meat also had more fat then anything else. The flavor was there but if it would have better meat it could have been better. The homemade fries were good. We ordered chips and salsa and the waitress had forgotten so when I asked for them again she told me it would be a charge I told her I was aware and to bring them. They ended up coming out with both the food and chips so we didn't get to enjoy them. Will have to return for something else on the menu.

Stopped in here on our way from the coast to Austin. Loved it! Salsa was a bit different but delicious and the chips were crispy and fresh. Nachos were perfect - right amount of beans and cheese and a nice bowl of jalapeños. Puffy tacos and enchiladas were good (puffy tacos being the favorite). Finished with a sweet empanada. Restaurant was clean and very family oriented, restrooms were clean and well-stocked, and our server was fast and delightful. We'll stop again next beach trip.

The Puffy tacos don't disappoint.Very Nice people I do recommend going at lunch or dinner time because their breakfast could use a little work in my opinion But Make your own conclusions.

Stopped by for breakfast and ordered some chilaquiles, what you serve is not chilaquiles. Though the flavor was decent except the rice. Lemonade tasted pretty fresh. It was difficult to enjoy my meal with all the flys fluttering around. The place is huge on the inside, unfortunately there isn't much decor to be admired.

The restaurant is clean & there's a definite family joint kind of atmosphere. The food is good, not greasy, and the staff is friendly. They offer a decent beer selection and breakfast all day. The flavors are just a little different from the usual tex-mex in this area. Best borracho beans I've had in a long time. They grill or just slightly "crisp" the tortillas before serving. Small tweaks that make the food a little special. We will be back.

I stopped into El Guero Loco this evening with a couple other people on a whim. Both the service and food were fantastic. Although the location is normally out of the way for me, I will be making a point of going back. Thank you El Guero Loco!

Half way through meal, I ran out of drink and they never came back to refill my water. Plus, new owners took over and portions are now smaller and prices are higher. Food was cold by the time the server finally brought it to me.
