Okaaaay McAllen I see you! I came out here on a Friday night around 8pm, the place was lively, good music on the speakers and it instantly felt like the weekend. With no reservation, I was asked to kindly take a seat in the small waiting area to clear a table. I was instantly greeted with a friendly smile and felt welcomed. I was seated within 5 minutes. I had a late lunch and wasn't super hungry. I couldn't pass up the refried beans and chips since they were wafting in my vicinity, no regrets though, the chips were on the lighter side (not super hard like a tostada) and crispy and you could taste the manteca in the beans which made me smile. Según, I had no intention on eating but I couldn't pass up the aguachile as it came to my table. Twas delightful! The only regret I had at that point was not bringing my appetite. Onto the drinks. Wanted to start off "light" and the Paloma was perfect and refreshing. Not too much on the squirt side, not amargoso (bitter) and the right amount of tequila. During the night they abruptly announced that they were running a 2 for 1 shot special along with LMFAO's "Shots" song and you almost feel obliged to order (marketing genius). I was feeling adventurous and decided not to ask what each shot entailed, but rather to go based off the name. I went with the Perla Negra and for the presentation itself it was worth ordering. All in all, this place is a MUST for your Friday night warm up. Como dice terminator: I'll be back.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and responsive to the customers. I was observing the attentiveness of all the staff even the managers get busy helping place and serve the customers. The food was great I had a couple of dishes myself and would recommend the ceviche and tacos de ribeye. Dessert was also amazing pan de elotes. (Cornbread) not your ordinary cornbread. Gotta try it for yourself.

Our first time but will not be our last. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic! The corn bread flaming dessert is a must! We had amazing service from our waiter, Cesar Sanchez and Danna!

Decided to try this place for lunch; solid choice! Ambiance is nice and definitely want to check it out in the evening. Food was really good and affordable. Service was great! Our waitress was very helpful.

Visiting town for work and had dinner there. Service was friendly and helpful. Chips and salsa were some of the best I've ever had. Tacos outstanding. Great little spot. Nice and clean.

Visited for a friends birthday dinner on a Monday . Food and drinks were good but a little over priced . Service was ok, the waitress seemed annoyed and wasn't familiar with the alcoholic beverages. She kept trying to pick up plates and cups when we were clearly still not done eating or drinking. She forgot my drink at one point. They said they ran out of birria tacos and the burrito trio but wouldn't state why when some of the ingredients were the same as other menu options that were available. AT THE END, I was charged an extra drink that I never received and the waitress seemed confused when I walked her through everything I ordered in chronological order. Since my card was already charged at the time of the dispute, she said she needed to see everyone's receipts to verify who it belonged to when everyone had already left. I told her to forget about it and I left . My friend later told me that she noticed a chunk of her cake was missing that they held in the back... another friend payed in cash and waitress asked if they wanted their change back ??? when they said yes she said she would have to go look to see if the had change ??? Just seems like they were doing things to try and get money out of us...never going back

Went for a friend's birthday and service was not good. They took a long time to attend us, mind you it was a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy at all. I repeatedly asked 3 different employees if they can put Happy Bday on the big screens and they keep saying yes but never did. I also asked for birthday shots and dessert with the little show they do and it was awful. They ruined the surprise when I had initially said to come at the end and mid eating the food they asked what we wanted for the birthday cake, and my friend heard. Food was good but not worth the price, for a party of 5 tab came out to $235 (without tip) for an appetizer one drink and one entree per person and dessert.
