Early Bird Tacqueria

We're new in town and we found this gem , the tacos are delicious, we have learned though that if we go on weekend morning it's definitely going to take awhile but it's so worth it!

I was hoping to find a hidden Jim while at a kids softball tournament. However, I did not find that and the food was definitely subpar and did not taste well and really wasn't that reasonably priced either for what you got as far as the ambience it is absolutely nothing special. It is attached to a metal building. As for the service, it was fine, but not good enough to offset the food or the facility.

Food and services are good. The place is small. The food is big and tasty. Great mom and pop place

This is a small little tacqueria right off SH 35 on Parrish street in Angleton. The restaurant is bright and the staff is friendly and pleasant. They use real cutlery and serve your burritos / tacos in reusable plastic baskets (love that). The portions are large and the sauce verde is nice and spicy. The price is right too. We try to find different breakfast places and this is one of the best, but not the fanciest, eateries around. The food is homemade and authentic Mexican and so good. Coming back next weekend for sure.

This is my go to place for breakfast when I am in Angleton.Never have had a bad meal here and the place is clean and food is always good.The owners make you feel welcomed compared to other restaurants in town.Ihighly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.

Me and my boyfriend always come for tacos the Hippo taco is like a burrito it comes with so much filling and it's soooo good. Their breakfast tacos are the bomb.

My husband and I stopped in here on our way to Freeport this morning to go fishing, we were actually looking for a Laredo taco company and seen the reviews to this place. We ordered a beef fajita burrito and eggs a la mexicano and added chorizo, it was amazing, 100% legit Mexican food!!! Hot sauce was on point, they make they're own tortillas, like homemade burrito size tortillas, who does that?!?!?!?! This place is who!!! We found our new breakfast spot for when we are going down to the coast!!! So if you're headed to Freeport stop and give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed. It's a lot of food for the price.

A hippo is enough for breakfast and lunch. Always fresh and good quality. Service is great. It hard to find a place to eat breakfast and lunch for eight dollars.

Hubby and I went today for lunch. I ordered cheese enchiladas, husband ordered beef and cheese. Waited nearly 30 minutes for canned enchilada sauce and unmelted cheese. We both took one bite and promptly left. We won't be back.
