I recommend this company for all your electrical and a/c repairs or replacement. Professional and Personable.Recovery from hurricane. All electrical up to code.Remove all and replace. New electrical panel, moved main from city. And put in 2 new A/C units!Give these guys a call for all your electrical and a/c needs.

The service was excellent. Timely and professional. In future, this is the only electrical company I would contact.

Have tried to deal with this company twice...once to get an RV hookup and then most recently a bid to get electricity to our shed. They never returned my phone call the first time. Talked to someone on Friday 1/11 and scheduled him to come out at 10 this morning 1/14; never showed, never called. AVOID!!!!!

In 2020 co-owner, Matt replaced the capacitor.This year, 2024, the compressor would not work so I called Durham repeatedly but no response. Another company came out and showed me how that the capacitor was not fitted in its proper position but instead it was just shoved in front of the wiring and covered with electrical tape. As a result all the wiring had melted and fused. Matt had made it easy on himself and done incompetent work.

Purchased a home in July 2020 that was built in 2019. The electrical work in this home was performed by Durham Electric & AC. During the purchasing process of this home we requested that a light fixture be replaced that had gone bad. The lights installed throughout this house are of the flush mounted LED Ultra thin type. Our realtor was able to contact Durham Electric & AC but it took multiple attempts to finally get a replacement light fixture. We are starting to see other fixtures of this same type beginning to flicker & fail. After repeated attempts in October & November 2020 via text messages, phone calls, & voice mails I have yet to be contacted by anyone from Durham Electric & AC. Due to the type & temperature of this particular light fixture I wanted to replaced with the same manufactures light so that it would match everything else in the house. We have looked at all the big box stores and online but have come up empty handed as of yet. All I need is the manufacture or location as to where these fixtures were purchased so that I can find a suitable replacement. In my experience this contractor does not contact the customer or potential customer back leading me to believe that Durham Electric & AC would likely not stand behind their work. I strongly advise not to utilize this contractor for new construction, remodeling or any other electrical or AC needs.
