Some of the spacious slots, all of the spots are shaded and the trees are all trimmed so that nearly any RV size will clear them.

We have stayed at the Drifters Resort a few times. We love this place because it is so close to both Rockport and Port Aransas. It is very close to a public ramp for our boat. There is plenty of room for you vehicle and boat at the place of your choice. It has very nice cottages, bungalows, etc that are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and professional. They have a very nice park for the kids to ride their bikes in. The pool is very nice, big and clean and fenced in. I enjoy the fact that they have a Gym that I could walk to and work out, with great AC and TV. Anything you want is right here in Drifters Resort, at a price that is very affordable. We are from Austin, Tx. and the drive isn't that far. Out of all the places we could stay we always go t the Resort! I am hoping that writing this review will help someone to try this place and know it's not just a RV park. They offer so much more and the rates are very reasonable. Make reservations in advance because the fill up fast.Connie GomezAustin, Tx..

We stayed in our 5th wheel Sunday evening through Wednesday morning, the price was very reasonable for our stay ($120). The pool was clean and well kept as well as the grounds. We didn't use the laundry or exercise facilities. We could not get the free Internet to work while we were there and cell phone reception is spotty for Sprint and Verizon unless you're near the office or closer to Rockport or Aransas Pass. The staff were friendly and helpful as well as the residents in the park. There were a good number of families and kids as well for our two year old to meet. Pets are allowed for a fee, and the pool hours and quiet hours were very reasonable. (10-10 for the pool and 11pm started quiet time). It was good to stay out of the city but within driving distance of Rockport beach and other locations. There were also a good selection of cable channels available including Disney for kids! We would stay here again for sure!

This is a perfect place for families with a budget. Everything is super clean, the pool is great for kiddos. And they provide everything you need to make a meal. Plenty of towels..porches are awesome for sitting and having a drink and just unwinding after a long day at the beach. We loved that we were close to Port A and SPI because we were not impressed or enjoyed Rockport Beach. Also the restaurants and Rockport suck, few choices and expensive. Eat in one of the other towns or plan ahead and cook at your place. We spent so much time at the beach we HAD to eat out but I won't make that mistake again!

Managed by the maintaince crew. They make up rules as they go. You can't park your rig off the back of the pad making it impossible to find a sit that will fit your truck and car. The bathroom building for the back of the park has not been open for six years, waiting on maintenance crew.

We have stayed at Drifters Resort many times. This stay was a little disappointing. Our first cabin we were in, the hot water smelled so bad, we had to open the door and windows to get some of the smell out. They moved us to another cabin close to the maintenance building and there was alot of noise from carts going in and out. Then they cut done 3 trees next to our cabin so chainsaws were running. More noise. We go to relax and enjoy the quite. Then the cabin had pet hair on the floors and we did not have a pet. Was told that was now one of the pet friendly cabins. We were not made aware of this prior to being moved. We talked to the office staff when we checked out and they were rude and said "Well you complained last time you stayed". The only thing we we can think of is we ask that the TV and DVD player be fixed which maintenance came and fixed right away. Drifters has always been a very clean, quite resort which we have enjoyed staying at! With the new Owners the staff in the office are very rude!

I knew from the first time I talked to Carol and Sue on the phone that this was an amazing place. I had read their reviews and have never seen a place with such consistently high reviews - ever! They not only met but exceeded my expectations! We have stayed in one of their lovely cabins for a month and it has been beyond delightful. I have never stayed in a place so clean! WOW! The whole resort is immaculate - all of the time. Every detail is taken care of. If there was anything I needed it was taken care of within MINUTES! The employes are so kind and caring, go way out of their way to care for their guests, and always have big welcoming smiles on their faces! There are activities galore, and the guests are so good about including everyone. Many of the folks come every winter for several months and have really become family. But still they welcome newbees into their family right away. The Gulf is only 20 minutes away, and there are all sorts of bird watching places, countless fishing areas, wonderful shops, and good restaurants. We loved the peaceful, quietness of the Resort. It is a lovely, serene place to just walk and look at the beautiful campsites. It's the ideal spot for you either in your RV or in one of the cabins! As one of the golf carts says here in the park "just another day in paradise"!
