Double Schotts Sports Bar & Grill

Found discrepancy on the menu and spoke to manager/owner Austin and he made good on it. Food and drinks ( loved fried mushrooms of the hook) staff and management amazing. Will recommend to all my friends and family. Free shuffleboard and all the above make this my new favorite hang out in NB. Call me Norm!

One of my friends had a birthday get together here in the private room area for her son. I liked it because it was tucked away from everyone else and we were able to have the privacy we needed while celebrating. They brought out appetizers and everything was fried to perfection! I haven't been in the main area or tried anything else other than the soft drinks and appetizers, but I plan on going back very soon! The waitress who was assisting us, was very detail oriented and stayed on top of making sure we were good.

Nice little sports bar tucked away as a hidden gem in a plaza. The wings were delicious, other good choices from the table were burgers, Philly Cheesesteak, and cold beer. Plenty of TVs to watch a game from just about any angle. The service was pretty good, only comment here is they could use an improvement on drink refills. If place gets full there could be a shortage of parking.

This is a descent sports bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a little hot for us to try sitting outdoors on this visit. They have numerous monitors so you can catch your team.There's plenty of parking, but this is a strip mall location, so maybe searching for a spot. Our service was good and prices weren't too bad. We took advantage of their happy hour prices and got there early. My friends tried the food and didn't have any complaints but I wasn't hungry...so I can't comment on that. No objections to trying this place again.

Our first time there, enjoyed the atmosphere and great food and service. Definitely will be back.

I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews, I thought this place was really good! It's a sports bar, so I would expect a sports bar atmosphere... if you're looking for a quiet evening, this is not the place. I came in for lunch but would def come back to watch games here, they have a decent amount of seating and a larger patio. I got the cheesesteak and it was really good! Meat was flavorful, a lil salty but not too bad. And I loved that the peppers were not overcooked and still had a slight crisp to them, yum! Fries were good hand cut fries. No complaints there! Would return

Came here with a few friends to watch the Texas game. They have several televisions inside, but it was a bit crowded and noisy. We sat in the patio outside and it was great! They had multiple televisions outside as well with several different games playing. We didn't order any food while we were there, but I did see other people that seemed to enjoy their meals. They had waitstaff that came around outside which was really nice. We didn't have to go inside and wait in line to order. The drinks came quickly and the waitstaff were friendly.

Had another good experience, while catching the NLCS. Tried a more substantial meal this time. The Monterey Chicken was very good, as were the mashed potatoes and broccoli. The wait staff was attentive as usual and the happy hour is hard to beat. I wish they had the sound on for the game, it was a LCS game after all, but otherwise the place was full and lively.

This place actually has good food and decent drinks. If you come to new braunfels, don't forget to stop by if you love sports. Pool table and darts with an outside patio.

One of our fav local sport bars. Nice staff, quick service and love that they have 2 separate rooms, lots of space to roam around. Now if they can add a DJ on Saturday nights that would be cool wink wink
