Don Birria Tacos

The food here was very good. I had the Don Birria special. It had a combination of 2 small bollios two corn and 1 flour tortilla. The small cup of beans served before your meal is delicious.

Food was delicious.Waitstaff was very attentive.We ordered the family pack of 20 tacos, 2 orders of large chips, Limonadas, a quesadilla and birra tacos.I absolutely loved the salsas and seasoned chips!We will definitely return when in town.

Great food fast service. First time trying this place out and I will be back. The birria tacos were full of flavor and cheesy. The consomé had a deep beef flavor complimented the tacos well. Beans were also very good.

The only reason we couldn't give 5/5 stars was because the bathroom was messy and the TP was a new roll and wouldn't allow me to use it to wipe. Ugh. But the birria tacos!!!! A must-have stop on the way out of Progreso for the day and back to McAllen. They are amazingly delicious and full of flavor. The waiting staff expected that we know how to order (which is in Spanish only) so that took a minute. But the birria tacos!!! Every bite my husband made he would moan with satisfaction and delight and dip again! Get you some!

This used to be amazing until they opened new location- now neither location is good. Service is terrible in both locations. They changed the way they make the flour Birria quesadilla and they never fry them up nicely. They come out soggy. Seriously bad service and food now.

This is one of those off the radar restaurants, but it shouldn't be! The service was great and the server very friendly. Since the menu is primarily in Spanish she had to interpret a lot of for us and made sure we understood what we were ordering. The food was served quickly, hot and delicious. And there is no lack of food on the plate. The menu is varied with lots of selections. This was us and our friends first time to visit and it won't be our last!

The Birria tacos are sooo good! I always order to go and the service is fast. Definitely recommend

I would give this zero stars but couldn't, and for that reason is they charged us double of what we got and we tried to speak to the cashier and the manager that if they could just take away the second charge but they had an attitude. Never go to this place.

Food is great! One of my favorite spots in Weslaco! Miss it when I don't visit family often in The Valley.

Another great meal today. I love the Birria Tacos. Great service, great food and wonderful sweet tea. What more can you ask
