STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH RELENTLESS SMOKERS!! This s*** ruined the whole trip for me. This one employee ruined about the whole experience for me even after the whole fishing trip was over. I ended up worrying about being subjected to congested toxic air even being forced to wait near her and other swines just to get a picture taken and just wanted away from that place as soon as possible. If you value anything about yourself, please avoid and just fish out in the sea yourselves even if it's costly to do.

Very disappointing fishing trip. Besides not catching many fish at least 2 deck hands were rude. At end of trip they were very pushy about getting tips from everyone. Never again is the best I can say.

Another great day at Dolphin Dock. Limits of Snapper for the boys. Capt Tim and crew did a stellar job once again and put us on the fish. We will certainly be back. Looking forward to Tuna season!

I've been twice on 4 hour trips and I love it. If you didn't catch anything so what issue it's called fishing not catching but here's a pic of our second trip.

The crew didn't tag my fish correctly, so at the end I only ended up with one fish, the very first fish I caught when they assigned me a number. Not the experience I expected! Disappointed!

Great day out deep sea fishing. We went on an eight hour trip for Red Snapper and had the best time. Great crew and boat. Not one complaint. We moved from place to place to find big fish and we did. Hats off to the Captain.

This is the review for La Pesca, 9 hour trip on Tuesday 16 August 2022. The trip began with a threat of a bag search prior to boarding. It seems you are not allowed to bring any water or food onboard. With this being my first trip, I went with the flow. I believe with the charter at only half capacity, they tried to conserve fuel and put us in two spots that were not producing. It took over two hours of cruising to get to these spots. With these spots not producing, the captain decided he would take us on a long trip to another spot. During this trip, he was pushing the boat at a high speed for its hull design. We suffered hours of a rough ride and water splashing on the decks. He did nothing to prevent the boat from climbing one wave and slamming into the next, jolting all passengers aboard. Total fishing time could not have been much more than an hour with about 7 hours of boat ride. Since the captain was running low on time, he decided he would fish to limit out the boat quickly. This caused some people not to catch fish but they were able to take 2 fish home. These fish were small and the fee for that day totaled at least $130 dollars plus the monopoly they had forced us into to purchase food and water. I will never return to this company for a charter. I suggest you do some research before you use this service.

I had a chance to fish with the Dolphin Dock Open Party Boat on 7/29. First let me say the the crew was absolutely terrific and what I have to say is totally separate from them, as disappointed as I was, I still gave them a nice tip because they deserved it. That being said, to advertise this as an 8 to 12 hour fishing trip is an absolute joke and they should be ashamed of themselves for false advertising. What should be advertised is a 3 to 6 hours boat cruise(there and back) ride with a 2 hour fishing window if that much. I've been on these open boats in NY, Florida and California and not at anytime did it take 2+ hours to start fishing (45 minutes to 1 hour tops). Next, for $130, they inform you after you pay of the state regulations that you are only able to keep 2 fish (but keep fishing) because we will give them to those who didn't catch anything, nice gesture but it would of been nice to know that in advance because I might of made a different decision today with my hard earned money. Finally (maybe) I came to fish for fish not sharks, that what the captain thought for $130 we might enjoy for our last drop. I drove down from San Antonio paid for a hotel for the night (so that I thought) I was going to have a nice fishing experience and again I got a boat cruise. You guys can do much better than this, maybe get out there and find new waters a little close so that your patrons have more time to fish. Finally again, you can not bring your own food(they do tell you that) but what they have to offer you really is no prize either. There were breakfast sandwiches (microwave), Frank's and ham and cheese sandwiches. I heard them tell someone(NO) when they said their son's had food issues and definitely nothing for the vegetarian, again stop worrying about the money and have your customers best interest in hand. I left and gave away my fish because I now had a 2+ hour trip back to San Antonio and didn't another hour plus to wait for fish to be cleaned after returning to the dock where as my other experiences they clean fish on the way back to the dock and with a 2 plus hour trip back, most if not all of the fish could of been cleaned. Again, to me just showing the caught fish back at the dock is another marketing ploy to get you excited about getting on their boat.
