Danny's Restaurant

My parents would take me to Danny's as a kid after baseball games, 30 years later, the food is still amazing. I've lived all over Texas, New York and California and never have thought Tex-Mex was ever done better than the Valley, this place is definitely one of the reasons why

Small restaurant with food that is absolutely prepared on site. Nothing is pre-made elsewhere. Tasty recipes too. I especially appreciate the thick, home style corn tortillas. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Always good food for a fair price. Lots of verity on the menu. Missed it when I moved out of Laredo. But good thing there are two in the Mission area. I try to stop by any time I am in town

We stopped here on the way home from church. I had the pork special. It was served with rice, beans, and flour tortillas. Large portions and served hot. My wife had the chicken fajitas. Excellent chicken and cooked perfectly. The salsa and homemade chips were great. The restaurant was clean and well presented. Our waitress was superb. Great personality and extremely attentive to our needs.

Decent place, excellent prices, food is excellent and they have lunch tacos that you can buy that are quite filling without having to buy a plate for 1.99 which I like for my little one. Thier corn chips are addicting, and they have excellent tea.

Terrible, terrible terrible. No flavor to anything. Our beans and rice were dry and flavorless. Their meat is terrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place there are other small business Mexican restaurants that's do wayyyyyy better and leave a good taste in your mouth.

We came in for breakfast at about 9:30am, they took about half an hour to bring us our cold/ room temperature food. Not only that, but our waitress checked on us maybe once or twice. Once to bring us our food and leave the check, and another to bring our drinks after we asked another waitress for refills. The food was served on dirty dishes because my biscuits and gravy plate didn't have any eggs included and yet there was egg on the side.

Was eating on Saturday when the entire restaurant was greeted by a RAT that fell from the ceilings. Unpleasant to say the least
