Always a great place to eat when i visit my home town never disappoints. The prices have been affected due to bidenomics. But hey we must provide billions to Ukraine every six months so get ready to pay out your @ss!

I've never had an issue with Danny's. I go to different ones throughout town often. Just moved to mines and decided to order a carry out from them. I was surprised to be disappointed. Ordered breakfast and getting home I noticed the order was fine, but not to standards. My barbacoa plate comes with potatoes and they literally got French fries, chopped them up, and place them on the plate. The "over medium" eggs was literally a hard boiled egg cracked open. Didn't even know you could cook eggs like that. Tortillas, broke as soon as you opened them up. My wife's plate 'Chilaquilles' good, but the salsa was practically missing. Couldn't taste or see it; same thing on the tortillas. I was really surprised by Danny's today.

I've wanted to check out this place for as long as I've been coming to Laredo and I finally did so. While the decor was nicely done and there were no foul odors noticed upon entering. I was greeted and seated right away with the complimentary chips and salsa provided. I ordered Horchata to drink and a bowl of the Chicken Tortilla Soup which is what I come for. I also had some Sweet Meat tacos. The portions were adequate and the service okay but I just felt like no one was putting forth any effort to do anything.

DO NOT GO TO DANNY'S MEXICAN RESTURANT ON MINES ROAD.11096 MINES RD. THEY STEAL MONEY FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS! And when I called their corporate office they said they would NOT do an investigation into the store even though they said they have gotten MULTIPLE accusations of this!I was sick and did not feel good so I sent my boyfriend to go and pick up my to go order of soup on March 24th at 5pm. Little did we know that this male manager charging me would ADD HIS OWN TIP and charge it to my card. In addition to the charge of my meal which was just being picked up he stole money for himself from me. It wasn't until the charge went through my card two days later that I noticed the charge was different from my reciet. I immediately called Bank of America to dispute the charged tip. They were so nice and understanding and without hesitation refunded me the money. But that is beyond the point. The money is not the issue here. The issue is that this manager decided that he wanted money for himself and disregarded his responsibilities and stole it from a customer. The corporate office says they have gotten multiple accusations of this so why has nothing been done. Why is this still happening? What if I was a person who has kids and who has very little money to buy food. What if my bank wasn't nice and understanding. How is it okay for this manager to be stealing from Dannys restaurant customers? Money that these customers, including myself, have worked long and hard for. How is it that neither the police, the store, and the corporate office, can do anything about this? It isn't the first or the last time it will happen. So protect yourself and stay away from the dannys restaurant on mines road at 11096 MINES RD. PASS IT ON. SHARE. TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. DO NOT EAT HERE!

This is the best authentic Mexican food you can get without actually crossing the border. I'm a long-haul trucker, and I've tasted Mexican food all over the country, but Danny's takes the cake. Great service, great homemade authentic food. Definitely will be back next time I'm in Laredo.

I placed a "to go" order on Sunday, October, 25, 2015. When I arrived home with my order I found my order to be completely wrong. It wasn't slightly wrong, but not even in the ball park of what I ordered. I was charged $29.21 for garbage. When I attempted to call the restaurant the young lady that answered spoke perfect English until I asked to speak to a manager. Suddenly, she was no longer bilingual. After being hung up on several times, and NEVER getting to speak to a manager (no matter who answered the phone) I decided I'd bypass the manager, and simply tell the world directly that this restaurant offers poor service with an abysmal attitude, and the food is of the lowest quality. Next time you'll put your manager on the phone, Sweetie. NO STARS. Rating of ZERO.

Danny's Restaurants are a family favorite for most things South Texas Mexican cuisine. The service is always fast, food delicious, and never any ugly surprises.

Food and service are great. The Salsa is flat out amazing. San Antonio could learn a thing or two from Danny's!

I'm from Chicago but don't let that fool you. I've had top Mexican cuisine from all parts of Mexico over the years. Danny's is five star. Excellent staff who provide friendly service too. My favorite place to eat when in town for work.
