Dam Red Barn

Holy Hell. I went here tonight and placed an order to go. It was OVER AN HOUR before I got my food. I watched order after order after order come out of the kitchen, but my order was still back there.I FINALLY got my order and I was so happy... Until I got home. I ordered the Chicken Fried Ribeye and it was so overcooked that it was inedible. The meat actually cracked apart when I put my fork in it. I was still optimistic that it was only that one piece that was cooked into oblivion, but sadly, I was wrong.I guess if you're going here for nachos or a drink then this is a good place to go. This was my very first time here and it will definitely be my last.

What a FUN place. Drink specials even on weekends. Staff super friendly and efficient. This can be a super busy place when packed out. The band was just fun too. Very into the audience. This a true casual place! Lots of TVs on the walls and clean pool tables. Can be very loud but still very chill. Food was excellent, was truly not expecting it to be so good. Drinks certainly not watered down. For a laid back fun time-this is it.

Lived out here several years and finally stopped here. It's a fun spot, great wait staff so sweet to us, and wow I was shocked at how good the food was. Usually for bars you expect something frozen thrown in a microwave but you can tell this was all hand made from scratch and it was DELICIOUS. We will definitely be back

Service & food were good on a late Saturday afternoon. Biggest downside was all the children...even had a kiddos birthday going on.

Nice atmosphere and food and service were great. They have live music too. We will definitely visit again the next time we visit Canyon Lake.

Hell to the yes! The food here is DELICIOUS, there's loads of it, and not even crazy expensive?! That's a triple threat combo!I knew we were going to be in the area last weekend so I looked into dining options ahead of time. One look at the menu at this place and I knew we had to go. I ordered the adult grilled cheese: three types of cheese on Texas toast with tomato, thin-sliced ham, AND bacon. Heaven! I would have never thought of a double-decker grilled cheese, so it was quite the surprise when they brought it out. Along with a heaping portion of utterly delicious fries. There was no way I was gonna get through it all without needing a to-go box, especially since I was saving myself for dessert to get the funnel cake fries. They were also generously heaped, plus a cup of molten dark chocolate. My partner helped me and we still couldn't finish them, so that came back home too, LOL.So yeah, I was really pleased with my meal. The place is very unassuming from the outside if you're just driving by. It looks like a run-down old red barn. And it probably was at one point, but the inside has been converted into a dining establishment. It's definitely not fancy on the inside either (though it leans into the whole "industrial" vibe that's so popular these days), but they have some fun colorful lighting and string lights too + a stage in the corner. Walk in and seat yourself at a table or up at the bar. They've got pool tables if you're into that. And they have live music and events (I saw an advertisement for a corn hole tourney) depending on what night you go. Looks to be a cool hangout for the local crowd.All the staff were friendly and the bathrooms were passably clean, haha. Parking is a gravel lot kind of shared with an RV park.

This is always a fun place to visit. If you get a chance to go when they have their catfish basket special I highly recommend it!

Such a fun place to go and grab a drink and food with friends! The atmosphere is laid back, come as you are vibes. The staff is great, everyone working together. The food is made from scratch and the portions are big! Tasty menu items, and specials on certain evenings. If you're in the area go check it out! You won't be disappointed!

Great service, the food was very good. Great atmosphere. Definitely will be back. If your on a motorcycle it would be a great ride to the Dam Red Barn.
