Dairy Queen

This review is for the Dairy Queen at 111 TX-239, Tivoli, TX. Steak fingers with gravy and Texas toast were on pernt! Delicious! For desert, a sundae with chocolate syrup. It was fantastic. Great service too.I forgot that I'm mildly lactose intolerant. It was a miracle that I held it in during the one hour drive to Port Aransas. I'm lucky I didn't have to pull over and poop in a field. Worth the risk if you ask me.Ilovit!

Stopped in while on our way home. Let me share that it was shift change and only 4 other people in the whole place. We were treated promptly and friendly. If you are in the area take a moment to stop and have a DQ burger, these guys went above and beyond in the burger making skills. So fresh, it's been a while since my last DQ burger and this one was a true hit. We will be back!!! AND they had a Dairy-free Dilly Bars Finally!

We were driving through from Rockport on our way to Cuero & decided to stop at the DQ drive thru for lunch. Big mistake. First they took forever with our order and asked us to pull to the front so they could bring our orders to our car. The place was NOT that busy. The town is tiny and hardly anyone was traveling through at that time. No reason to be that slow unless they're understaffed. We ordered 2 meals. Food was awful. The Dr Pepper was flat. My husbands drink was also flat. I started eating the stale fries and immediately chunked them cause I couldn't finish them. My husband immediately told me to smell his burger and I told him to check the ingredients and see what was causing the disgusting smell. It was either the tomatoes or pickles but the whole burger literally tasted like it was made in a smoking environment because it all had that cigarette taste for some odd reason. I tried to eat my burger and also wound up throwing it in the trash. The food isn't fresh at all.

DO NOT stop keep driving to Victoria the TEXAN. It took over 20 minutes to prepare cheese bits, taco salad and tacos. We asked for no tomates, guess what tomatoes on everything. We got ketchup for what i don't know? No dressing for salad or sauce for tacos. Absolutely NO flavor in anything. The lettuce was only thing that tasted like anything. Wasted stop.

We were in drive thru for at least 15 min behind another car. When we finally did pull up there was no response at the speaker - ok maybe it's broken... so we continue to pull up -The person in front of us had also pulled away. There was not even any acknowledgment that we were at the drive-through for a good two minutes that we sat there

SERVICE IS UNACCEPTABLE!We placed our order at 1:19pm (#1 hamburger and steak finger basket). We just got our food at 1:34pm.The people in front of us never got their order, so they got a refund and left. The kitchen was pumping out food but only giving it to the drive thru.Complete ineptitude by the employees. We had to go up to the counter twice and ask where our food was. And this wasn't just us, it was every single inside order.There was a little girl literally crying because it was taking so long for her to get her ice cream!Management needs to take some serious action here.

Been sitting the the restaurant for over 20 min with 2 people ahead of us in line and still hadn't ordered. Absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible service!! Long wait time. This location does not offer texas size drinks.They charge for how much ice u want in drink. Vegetables for burgers and taco salad dont look fresh. Long wait time before ur even helped. Staff to busy playing around. Everything on the menu is overpriced compared to other DQ's.Definetly not a fast food place. Since you will probably be waiting 30 to 40 minutes for your food.Longer if you are in the drive thru. I highly reccomend u dont eat here!!!

HOT FOOD, which few fast food restaurants, or even other Dairy Queens even try to provide. Grilled buns, hot meat with melted cheese, perfect french fries served quick and hot and to our table. I will stop here at the Tivoli DQ instead of my home DQ in Rockport Tx (food is always either cold or burned food at Rockport DQ) each time I pass north of home and turn left from Tivoli Tx to Victoria Tx. Well done cooks and servers at the Tivoli DQ!

Husband and I stopped in at the Dairy Queen in Tivoli. We both got Butterfinger Blizzards. Order taker was friendly and efficient. The guy who made our Blizzards did a great job and was super friendly. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. They were very busy. Nice place to stop!
