It's great to have a Dairy Queen in most towns of Texas. As you drive to destinations, you can always count on finding a DQ on the way to help when hunger strikes! This one was especially clean and the staff especially friendly and helpful. Stop in when on your way to Corpus Christi or the Gulf Shore.

I ordered today's special, a foot long Chili Cheese dog combo. The hot dog was grossly overcooked and TOUGH! The fries were not only also overcooked, they were cold! I had a few bites and gave it back to the manager and told him it sucked! He offered to give my money back, but the lunch rush was on so I just walked out because I didn't want to hold the line up and spoil other people's lunch.

Had a hamburger and fries. Cooked fresh and tasted good. Very clean. Read the review where the furniture was bolted to the floor.... that is no longer the case. Will definitely come back. Very nice staff.

DQ That's what I like about Texas! The red Dairy Queen sign is also called a "Texas Stop Sign." This Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary puts out some good Dilly Bars, some great Blizzards, and all kinds of tater tots, fries and such. We stopped in for a blizzard, and to use the bathroom. The place was clean, and was not too far off the highway that goes from San Antonio to Corpus. They have tables here where the chairs are bolted to the floor, so don't get any ideas of trying to run off with the furniture. It seems to be a good place for kids, since there was a lot of 'em running around, bouncing off the walls from all the ice cream. The blizzard was served like it's supposed to be- upside down! It was mixed well, and they were more than happy to double up with two toppings. This place is owned by the billionaire, Warren Buffet, the Oracle of Omaha. Although, I'm sure that this is a local franchisee.

The workers here suck the manger is super mean and rude sometimes. I don't would just mind my business and she'll be like "don't be doing nothing or I'll kick u out" and I'm like wtf because I didn't do nothing. But besides all of that the service is great and is delicious

The workers suck. They never answer the phone. Tristan is the only good worker they have. Going through the drive through the chic at the window makes u wait to place ur order when it's not busy at all. Laziness. Get rid of the girls and hire more workers like Tristan.

I waited way too long in the drive thru. Had to be at least 30 minutes behind 3 cars. When I finally got my food, the buns were stale, the food wasn't hot, and the malt was completely melted. Not at all what I was expecting

Driving through Mathis on a short road trip with my husband, and stopped here for a quick bite to eat. The food tasted great (tacos, hunger buster jr, & blizzards), came out fast, and the service was very good & friendly, even though they were busy:-) Nice job, y'all!
