Custom Machine Shop

Recommended by an Ag Shop, we took our Forestry Mulcher to Custom Machine Shop in Sinton, Tx. to diagnose and fix our Mulcher.. it had a horrible vibration. The owner stated that they work on them all the time..he diagnosed the problem as a bad flywheel, so at the cost of $6,000 we ordered a new wheel..it WAS NOT the flywheel. The new wheel did the exact same thing..My husband took it upon his self to rebuild the driveshaft at a cost of $1800, even though this machine shop said it WAS NOT the driveshaft.They claimed they gauged it and it was definitely a warped wheel, not the driveshaft. Well, after my husband completed the rebuild of the driveshaft, WOW!!! Like Brand New!Luckily we were able to return the flywheel to the company we ordered from for credit.When we asked Custom Machine Shop to make it right by covering the cost to ship back, ie; less than $200, they told us no, they could not do that, even though they misdiagnosed the issue completely, and then told me it was my decision to order the wheel..REALLY?Not to mention, they charged us $380 to install a flywheel we did not need..no credit for that either..I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP

Highly recommend this shop to everyone I've had numerous jobs for these guys and always came threw for me even last minute binds these guys do great work and if I'm ever back in the area again with my company will definitely go back to them without a doubt Tom is a hell of a guy great customer service as well as Derek both need raises if they just got one give'em another haha all joking aside check out these guys you won't be disappointed
