Culebra Meat Market

I love meat markets. You walk in, select your meat & purchase it. It was a busy place with people buying fresh meat and other food items however the lines moved quickly. I'll definitely stop in again to make a purchase.

I really like this location. The butchers are patient & very helpful. The cuts of meat I've purchased are always good & fresh. The little store is perfect to run to & get necessities or emergency ingredients. You know, that one thing you forgot to grab while at the mega stores? Plus, they have loads of products to get that may be new to you. They have meats to grab & eat too when you need that protein punch. Their selection of fruits & vegetables have always looked fresh. I've only ever bought cilantro, (Yeah, that emergency ingredient.), while there. By the cashier they have an ice chest with warm delicious corn tortillas. You can also get flour, & other grocery needs. Just go in, wear a mask!, and see what they have. The store is always clean. It will remind you of the little corner store down from your grandparents home when you go in. Probably why I really like this location. It is set in an old corner market with gas pumps, which are no longer there. The pump set up is still there. So, it does cut off quite a bit of parking. The parking is the only drawback here. But, if you have lived in Texas for a minute, you should be good at creative parking.Their COVID precautions include wearing a mask, and they only allow five people in at one time. I appreciate it.

Great tamales! Side by side comparison. Them and Delicious Tamales, Delicious Tamales are anorexic bland tamales. Culebra Meat market has the better of the two by far.

Stopped by a week ago and loved the workers there. Very friendly and helped us try different things. Some stuff is pricey but Its worth it. Great meat

Small ...super clean meat market with a small section of produce and groceries. I visited this place when my friend told me about it. It is like an old fashion butcher shop. The prices are a tad lower than some grocery chains. The meats look fresh and the employees are nice. I like how they have bbq packs give you a variety of meats in a package with out having to think of what you need. This market looks like an old gas station. Don't let the outside determine your decision of entering this market. This little place has a lot of items in it and then some. Very clean and organized.

This used to be a great place to get meats and small fresh veggies. Was turned away twice within the last week.... I think it's because i'm white or maybe invisible (nope just white). stay away from this place if they are playing the race card.

I went to this place last week. My husband bought some shor ribs which also had an option to come with seasoning. We opted to do their seasoning and it was very tasteful. The meat was great better then some other places we have bought from. Very very clean. A good selection of meat which is cheaper then your local grocery store. The outside looks like an old gas station but don't let that make you pass it by. I gave a 4 because I haven't tried all their meat yet. On another note they also sell tamales which look yummy and can't wait to try them. Definitely check this place out.

Horrible place I've been here a couple of times and the service sucks when you ask for something they lie to you and they don't tell you the things that you want. Never coming back here and who ever asks me of this place ima day to not come their meat is full of cuero and it's not good and it's very expensive so I do no recommend this place at all! The workers are just on their phone instead of helping the costumers.
