Crossroads Movers

In November (2013), my wife and I had contracted a local moving company to move us out of our home a few days before closing. On the day of the move, this moving company demonstrated how ill prepared they were to move us. After discussing the issue with the owner, he pulled his movers off the job and left us completely without any help. In desperation, we contacted our realtor who put is in contact with CrossRoads Movers. We spoke to Susan who was able to provide us three experienced and kind gentlemen who came to our aid. They worked tirelessly the first day for 13 hours. We had a lot of contents and they assisted us in everyway possible. They were able to move the majority of our items to another home and storage unit. With a few items remaining, Susan arranged to have them come back the next day (our day of closing) and finish the job before the closing deadline. We cannot provide enough accolades to demonstrate how impressed and thankful we were to have CrossRoads Movers. They moved us with the utmost care and gave us a greater understanding of reliability. We would recommend this company without reservation. As a moving company, they certainly came through where others failed to deliver.

Handled move on short notice. Did an awesome job, including stopping off at a storage facility for extra items I had. Professional, friendly, and final cost was considerably less than a local competitor.

Crossroads Movers did an excellent move for me recently. They were courteous, efficient and did the move for me at the price that I was quoted. The ladies were great. They were very clear with their communication and what is expected. They even advised against moving on a certain day because the weather forecast indicated possible rain. The lady told me that my furniture would get wet and advised a better day. Though I was moving on Monday 8:30 am, they contacted me on Sunday (their day off) to make sure that we were still on. The movers came at 8:25 am. They had thick covers for the furniture. I moved from first floor to a storage unit. I was the one who boxed everything. But the movers were efficient, careful, and quick. I would use them again.

I was quite disappointed and do not recommend them and will never use them again. They were only supposed to take 5 hours....it took almost 8. Then they tried to charge me for 8.5 as if they had showed up on time, but they had arrived late. Then they damaged my Samsung stainless steel refrigerator door and broke a leg off of a dresser. On the positive side, they did fix both - ordered a new stainless door panel for my fridge. Then they banged up the door frame and the front door when bringing things in the house. The guys worked hard but left a lot of room for improvement.

We were very pleased with our move using Crossroad Movers! We would highly recommend them and we will definitely use them again for our future moves. The movers did a great job, they were very diligent and professional. The office was very pleasant to work with and answered all of our questions and were very patient with us. From the first phone call to the last box, I had nothing but a positive experience with this company. I was able to book them fairly quickly too! Everyone was friendly, they told me what I needed to do to make things "movable", and the price was reasonable. As well, the fellows were really understanding of my cat who spazzed out before I could get him kenneled. They were willing to wait outside until I could get the cat shut in one of the bedrooms. I just can't say enough nice things about this company. They made the experience of moving so much easier and less stressful.
