Highlights: nice sitting outside on a mild day, great people sitting around us, friendly staff, very reasonable prices and AMAZINGLY seasoned crawfish. Call first...they are open until they sell out. If you want a more detailed version, keep going. ;-) On our way home from fishing at the coast, we stopped for a late lunch with my daddy. We saw this place last time we were in town, and being the crawfish lovers we are, wanted to try it. Needless to say we were super happy they were open today. Four of us showed up with an ice chest (it's BYOB), ready to roll up our sleeves. They only have outside seating on white plastic picnic tables. Most tables are under a large canopy, but some are in the sun. We were lucky to get under the tent AND it was a pleasant day. You go up to the window and order, sit down and they bring your food. We got a shrimp boil (served in a white clamshell) and six pounds of crawfish (served in double plastic bags inside a big paper bag) . They provide you with boxes for the shells, plenty of paper towels and wet wipes. We loved the set up, people were friendly, great vibe of folks...but we were most concerned with crawfish. We love crawfish, have our own boils, and we're picky. There are only a handful of places we really like in the Austin area, so I was admittedly a little skeptical. Holy mud bugs...the FLAVOR!! After a few bites, we picked up on what was a tad different than our normal crawfish...mustard. Yup...mustard! Don't freak! It was subtle, played well with all the other flavors and we LOVED it. So much we ordered three more pounds AND we're playing with our recipe to incorporate it. They don't offer different spice levels, but no need...the flavor was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of kick. We ordered with potatoes, corn and sausage...worth the extra $. Sausage was VERY good! We're already planning on making it back to Victoria before the end of crawfish season. I typed this on our way back to Austin and the amount of time we've spent talking about what we ate is a great indication of how much we loved it! So go... suck some heads and pinch some tails. You'll be happy.

Get the boudin egg rolls - you won't be sorry! BYOB - they'll throw them in a bucket of ice for you. The shrimp and crab were cooked perfectly.

Expensive. Asked for tip with payment before any food is served. Also tried to add sausage, extra butter and sauce into my order for extra charge. Smallest crawfish I have ever paid for. The only normal size ones in my 2 pounds were heads with no bodies and there were about 20 of those. The tails I did get averaged maybe an inch long. Do they make up bags of the small ones for people who only tip 15%? On the plus side, the potatoes were the best I've had anywhere, the corn was good, the shrimp was decent if overdone slightly but the crawfish were disappointing if not embarrassing due to tiny size. Maybe that's why they called it the tiny guy meal.

Tried this spot while working nearby. Will gladly drive from Houston for this food. Crawfish has the perfect flavor, texture and color. Shrimp is very flavorful and cooked perfectly, doesn't stick to shell and isn't undercooked the way it is at some places. Boudin is not the the kind from the package. Andouille sausage is delicious. Their corn is not too spicy the way it normally soaks up all the spice. Flavor is traditional Cajun. Owner and staff are very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Poor customer service, ordered 10 lbs, received maybe 5 lbs of bland, not purged crawfish for over $100.00.
