Countryside RV Park

I stayed here one night on my way to the Texas Master Naturalists annual meeting in McAllen. I was pulling my RV and don't like to drive long distances. I didn't use any of the amenities, so I won't speak to them. However, I will talk about the things that matter to me when I'm traveling.1. The price for an overnight stay was very affordable.2. The gentleman who checked me in was fast and friendly. He even changed my site so that I didn't have to hunt for my 50 amp converter. Lord knows I probably wouldn't have found it easily.3. My site was very easy to pull into. It was a very level graveled site. It had about 15 feet of space on either side of it. I did not feel boxed in.4. In the morning, when I am ready to get on my way, there is no checkout procedure. I can simply pull out and be on my way.5. The park was very well laid out. It was nice and tidy. And, most importantly, it was very quiet.If I were going to live in Falfurrias, for any length of time, I think this would be a very nice park to choose for my stay. I highly recommend it for anybody who is traveling through. I will be back in a week to stay another night on my return trip.

Those was suppose to be an over night stop, however we needed to move up our check in date; they not only accommodate that the weather was so bad we needed to stay a total of 4 nights. They allowed that and didn't need to move to another site!! They also allowed us to have our mailed sent there!!! The park is clean. They gave monthly's and put out a active list of items they will do each month! They had 6 washers and 6 dryers at $2.00 a piece and they ALL worked. A heated pool and jacuzzi. I recommend it. Not a lot there, 30 mikes to a Walmart.

We paid for a month and had something come up to leave early so instead of getting monthly rate which was already paid along with an electric deposit of $150 we were changed to a weekly and daily rate which converted to us having to pay an additional $100. Owner was rude and somewhat condescending. The patrons in the park are very nice but shared this was pretty much how they ran things!! Definitely would not stay here again after this treatment. So be sure to read the fine print and throw all good business sense out the window!

Wow! Pulled in to a well landscaped RV park. The roads are paved but the sites are gravel but we were put in a pull thru that had a small patio. The staff made us feel like we were coming home. This is their second year with the park and you can tell the are doing everything right. The park is right next to the golf course, so if you want play, and you are walking, just jump on and pay when you get done with #9. Pool, Spa and Laundry as well as wifi. Yes, we recommend a stop here.
