Country Cafe

Great food, great price. We fell in love with the cafe. It's quiet, cozy, and friendly. The food is delicious, and the service is prompt.

Our first time here. We had a good experience. Husband had the Tampico plate and he was pleased. I had the enchiladas good but next time would like to try something else. On the movie playing in the back room. Kept my son entertained. -1 because they didn't have kid's menu.

What a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!! We decided to try this little cafe because it seems as though it may have potential for some good meals. Boy, was I completely wrong. We've done at this cafe twice. Our first experience was rather underwhelming and we thought maybe it it was just us. The meals were so-so, nothing that would make it stand out. I ordered huevos rancheros and the sauce, basically all tomato, was way too runny. On our second attempt to eat there sealed the deal that this is one establishment that we were not going to frequent again. Once again I ordered huevos rancheros but this time I asked for the salsa on the side. The waitress responded that they couldn't do that. I asked why and she said it was because the cooks were barely learning. WHAT??? WTF does that even mean. That is one thing you never utter to a customer that about to eat the food you are cooking!! Instead the waitress wanted me to completely change my order. Instead I just ordered a breakfast taco. I was still perturbed about what the waitress excuse was concerning my huevos rancheros when out unsweetened tea was brought to out table. When I tasted it, the tea tasted old. We asked if the tea was made today because it tasted old. Without hesitation, the waitress replied "it was made yesterday." We looked at her and asked for new tea. She stepped away and spoke to the manager for a brief moment. When she returned to our tables she said "The manager want to know if you want something else to drink? WHAT!!?? You just told us the tea is old and even though we questioned you about it and you verified it was old, you want us to order another drink rather than brewing fresh tea!!?? That asinine question sealed the deal and we walked out.

Pretty dang good! Stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Got seated right away, they have plenty of tables. It's got a casual country feel to it. Very cute and quaint with lots of charm. I got the migas, eggs and chorizo. It comes with a HUGE flour tortilla that is home made (so are the corn). I would get it again, it was nice and crispy and eggs and chorizo cooked well. Place was clean, staff was friendly. If you need somewhere local this is a place to go!

The breakfast here is amazing! But the reason for the 2 stars is there lunch. I ordered a sombrero which is supposed to come topped with cheese and it didn't and also the chicken was a bit dry. I had the plate to go and they brought it out with the plate sideways inside the plastic bag as if they really didn't care that my food went all over the place which it was. I didn't call and complain cause I see it pointless. I love to support local restaurants during the pandemic but hard when I get a plate like this.

Food was really good! Service was great! Very attentive. The decor was cute! A little pricey. I would def revisit.

Well.....if you're in no hurry to go anywhere you could stop here. Bring your own ice. Two young ladies appeared to be the only servers in the place. They apparently didn't have much experience serving because we had to make lots of requests for tea, chips,ice, napkins.....Well..... food finally arrived. And uh..... for the prices I thought we'd be getting some really great food. I was wrong. Food looked and tasted old, over cooked and just plain sad and neglected. The cook appeared to have no interest in what he or she was doing. I won't be back. Give it a shot and let us know what you think.NOT!!!!

Food & service, had to ask for refills 3 times and salsa twice, place was not full only 4 tables taken and 3 servers, my dad and mom ask for a caldo de pollo and it was tasteless no flavor my plate guisado de puerco was good

Amazing food & service, the spot hits home, the moment you sit and wait for your food. Everything is absolutely perfect.

Definitely would not recommend this place. Service was horrible, waited exactly 45 minutes before our food came out, no complimentary chips(only hot sauce). It will be a very long while before returning. Hopefully by then new management with plenty of staff. Don't remember the last time we left without tipping our waitress. Wouldn't even rate it a ONE star! I was forced to select at least one to complete this review!
