We came here for a date and the server helped us so much and was so quick to refill our drinks even when they would barely get halfway down he would be there to fill them back up Excellent service and really good food

I've eaten at this location several times previously. The food is decent, nothing outstanding but serviceable. The Beef Fajitas Toreadas were good, the Guacamole appetizer was seemingly only avocado and a little salty. No tomato, jalapeño, garlic or lime which seems odd. In the end it was pretty bland. The chips and three salsa were good. Nice thin crispy chips. I was surprised by the response of one of the wait staff when he was reminded for the second or third time that our dining partners needed tortillas to consume their Queso appetizer. His response was something like, "don't worry about it". Totally uncalled for. Other than that, the meal was decently paced consider there were 18 of us dining. $2 margaritas and a few half price appetizers were the draw to coming here. Our group, although smaller in number, will be back again this week.

Wonderful restaurant I always visit when in the RGV! I've always enjoyed everything I've ordered.

This used to be our favorite place to eat when we wanted Mexican food. However we never tried this location. The restaurant was not very crowded for a Saturday night on graduation. The happy hour special sounded interesting so i ordered the cheesy shrimp and hubby had the chimichangas. My order came with a charcoal heater under the plate to keep the loads if cheese melted. It was delicious but way too fattening fir one person. Hubby said his chimichangas were dry and had too much refried beans and hardly any chicken. His margarita was excellent though. All that said we were disappointed and probably will not return to this location again.

I don't where to start, but the food here is just magnificent. I got the Mexican street tacos and they had so much flavor reminded me so much of when I would eat tacos at home. The service here was also amazing, and the workers really know how to keep a very good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the tacos and this place in general.

Nice new set up. Good food good service. Nice bar area. The fajita ate tasty. Easy to fill up on chips and salsa.

The food was amazing! My plate was delicious and all the food was hot. The portions were pretty big, so show up hungry like I did! This place will definitely fill you up. We went at a good time so it wasn't so crazy busy and everything was clean and welcoming and the music was on point. Server was very attentive and friendly, and all the employees greeted us and told us thank you when we left.

Great food, great atmosphere,friendly service.Molcajate is a must try for foodies !Food is brought to the table on a hot vessel made of Volcano stone, so food stays hot till the very last bite.One order is enough to feed to hungry persons!Their complimentary chips and salsa is HOME made unlike many other places which are ready made !

Tried to make a reservation for my birthday to ensure I had the seating I preferred, and the team member Fernando refused to take my reservation. I explained that I wanted to guarantee my seating being that it's usually full, and unfortunately he was dismissive and said he didn't want to make the reservation.Disappointing because I truly enjoy this venue and their food, but their customer service today changed my opinion.

Take out portions suffer compared to in person dining. Good to eat in person, but avoid take out. You will be disappointed. Meat is light in the botanas; if you pay extra for charro beans, the tiny cups are half full, and the rice and refried beans that come with the botana for two are only enough for one and maybe a small child.
