Cosmos Bar and Grill

My first time there. It was a really nice place but I expected more from their quality of food. I had the tuna burger and it was a complete fail. The burger was cold all the way around. The bun was toasted but cold. The tuna was of a well serving size but it was cold. I think it went from the freezer to the frying pan. I didn't send it back only because it took about 40 minutes to get hour food. My wife had the mini burgers and those were okay. If you want a burger stick to the beef burger. Two stars only because of my cold food. I would go back because it's such a nice place. Was this the fault of the kitchen or the server ? Don't know and don't care. It is what it is.

A great locally owned restaurant. Top notch food and friendly service. They offer a relaxing atmosphere in spite of the TV screens and sports bar appearance inside. We were able to have a nice conversation. I don't know how it is at night but for lunch it was great. Prices are moderate. Everything was very clean including the restrooms. The iced tea is not fresh brewed. It was from a concentrate. :-( But I guess most don't do iced tea here. That was the only thing I did not like. Everything else was awesome.

My wife and I have been to many restaurants in Laredo and out of Laredo, the food and the service at Cosmo's was exceptional. The rack of lamb, without question, was the best RACK of LAMB that I ever had. Tasty, delicious and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend Cosmo's, and if you are a lamb fan, get the rack, which comes with 9 succulent chops. The ambiance was amazing and of course, the hostess and our server were very friendly and hospitable!! Cosmo's was overall an amazing restaurant for our date night!

This review is for the new, second location of Cosmo Bar and Grill. This review is for lunch for two at the bar on a Saturday afternoon. locationThe new restaurant is at 7518 McPherson Road. Location is to the southwest of the intersection of Del Mar and McPherson. The restaurant sits back from the road and could be tough to see, if you're not watching for it. serviceIan took care of us at the bar. He and the bar backs seemed to be busy stocking lots of beer in the bar coolers. That said, he did take our order and get us our bill.barFor Laredo, Cosmo has a good selection of draft beer. They had Dogfish Head IPA on tap! $9.50 for 22 oz. or $7.50 for a pint. The bar stocks some very high-end booze. We saw Macallan 25 and Johnny Walker Blue.foodMy wife ordered grilled chicken and selected spinach and rice as her sides. It was at this point that we noticed there is a grill station inside the horseshoe of the bar. The line cook had great attention to detail and my wife's meal was excellent. Special mention for the sides, both were excellent. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was equally good. In addition, the food is very affordable. My wife's lunch was ten bucks and came with a drink. The food runner who brought our meals was also a server and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. detailsPlenty of surface lot parking around the restaurant. There is some sort of smaller, VIP and handicapped parking lot in front. Interestingly enough, there was a parking lot attendant and a security guard at the door at 2pm on a Saturday. The inside is airy, bright and clean. Very different from the other Cosmo location, which has lower ceilings and can be dark. There is a serious DJ set-up to the left as you come in the door, could be busy in the evenings? Lots of seating around the bar.

Great place, great food, great atmosphere! Definitely new hangout spot! The owner is very nice and the food is really good! One of my favorites in Laredo for sure!

Really a classy sports bar,service good,Sunday Brunch deal is outstanding. They're very accompanying to getting your game on. Only downer-- No White Claw? Maybe next time!?

Great food! Calamari and chipotle Alfredo pasta were delicious. Also recommend the fried mushrooms. Can't wait to try other menu items. The drinks are superb! Great margaritas

The atmosphere is very welcoming, our server was very attentive and friendly. The compliance and delivery of food and drinks was fast and tasty! Definitely will stop back in to visit our server Robert!
