Corpus Christi Yacht Club

My family has been a member here for over 40 years. That being said, I was here on date night recently and was reminded as to just how good the food remains. Not to mention, the views of the harbor are insane, and they have a lovely pool to enjoy as well.We started with a round of drinks, which are served promptly and with a generous pour. I had the Manhattan and she had the bloody mary. Both were excellent. Along with that we ordered queso, which arrived promptly with a generous portion of chips. For mains we ordered the fresh, local black drum, pan fried, with meuniere sauce and she ordered the fresh, local flounder, prepared in the same style. Fish can be tricky to cook, but they pulled it off with perfection. Both arrived with a side of rice and asparagus, steamed to perfection. Alas, we were too stuffed to partake in dessert, although all of the offerings looked wonderful!

This place is really good - great local (and fresh!) seafood, with great views of the harbor. I always love coming here when I visit Corpus.The menu and specials change regularly as fish comes in and out of season. They are able to customize dishes, which must be challenging for the kitchen, but you can get your food exactly how you want it. I always order the red snapper, and I can have it grilled, pan fried, baked, breaded, you name it. I like to add some crab and add a sauce. The desserts are great, with some creative alcoholic drinks if you wish to partake.It is relaxing to sit on the water and watch the boats come and go. The dining room is expansive, and there are private rooms you can reserve if you need privacy or quiet. The Yacht Club, being a private club, is not inexpensive, but it is worth it!

We often meet family here when visiting CC for the weekend. We have started off with the veggie plate, as well as the queso. Both great choices! Veggie plate is great if you are doing low carb! I have had a variety of things off the menu, and always enjoy the delicious and fresh plates they serve. The bartender is just as great! He mixes up excellent cocktails and is just as friendly as everyone else in the restaurant.

Lovely little yacht club in Corpus. Everyone is friendly and the amenities are great. The pool is big and well kept. The restaurant serves delicious food and the prices are pretty good.

We met out of town guests for dinner. We started off with crab imperial for an appetizer. Wow, burst of flavor with each bite of delicate crab. My husband decided to order the crab imperial as a main entree along with a salad. I ordered the pecan crusted drum with vegetables and spinach in place of rice. The drum was delicious and fresh. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the spinach was excellent. We had strawberries and cream for dessert a perfect ending.

First time going general manager walked out cause half the power went a ray ran threw the dinning room food was bad low on employees so everything was coming out slow
