Small but quality. Visiting from San Antonio but bought a bunch of stuff because I wanted to try it all. I appreciated the experience, the people, and the prices! It's affordable here!!!! It was the only one open on the weekend from what I can find, but it's the right one that should be open. Try it and let me know what you think.

I really can't give this review 2 stars, even though I HAVE experienced (much) better farmer's markets around the country. What hurts this one so much is that it is very, very, VERY small - maybe only a dozen vendors; one decent produce vendor, one honey vendor, one GREAT goat cheese vendor (the real reason why this got another star), one soap/candle vendor and the rest are just scraphangers looking to sell ..... whatever. If you want any kind of selection, you better get there RIGHT when they open because stuff sells out fast. The goat cheese I really wanted was gone in less than 45 minutes from opening time. There was a line-up for the organic honey that looked to be sold out within an hour as well. So, based on sales, I would think more and more vendors would want to get in on this. Hopefully soon. We'll keep checking it out to be sure.

It's nice to see that Corpus finally has a farmers market. Apparently it's been operating for over a year now. The selection is slim but I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the produce. On my very first visit I picked up some local honey, salad greens, and kohlrabi, which I'd only read about but never actually seen at a market before. The best part of farmers markets is being able to actually meet and talk to the people who produce the food and both of the people running the stands on the day I went by were not only friendly but helpful; the lady who sold me the kohlrabi gave me a recipe for how to cook it. Get out of the supermarket once in a while and meet the people who grow your food.

I wanted to like this, I really did. But the previous review was right...very small!! I was hoping to find a cheese vendor (goat or otherwise) but no such luck.. 2 fruit vendors (citrus), a few veggie vendors (most of which had the same produce), an herb lady, some jams/pickling, a soap/bath soaks/scrub/lotion lady. A few arts and crafts type stands too (mostly jewlery). There was also a fish vendor that seemed promising. I didn't check him out though because I had errands to run and didn't want to leave fish in my car. There was a guy playing guitar which made for a nice vibe :) Ultimately, I'll probably check this out a few more times and during other growing seasons, but right now I'll stick with my H-E-B plus :(

Great for your weekly stock up of fresh veggies, eggs, fruits. The seafood is overpriced. This isn't a big market like you'll see in bigger cities, but it's good for corpus.

Went by the market last weekend when I was in town visiting my daughter. They had large variety for this time of the year. I hope the people of Corpus Christi support this market. Every town needs to be able to get fresh produce over store bought.
