Corpus Christi Medical Center - Doctor's Regional

Notice I never got a response from the hospital because they know everything I said about it happened. You would think I would at least have gotten an apology!

I noticed as I read the review for Corpus Christi medical center doctor regionals there's nothing negative in there now between me and you we know there aint no such thing there has to be a balance of good and bad. I don't understand why the ER implements call bells if they sre never answered!! It's a fact I have a video on this And you would expect that not to happen at a great hospital especially on the rich side of town you get better treatment on the website than you do on the South side and the website is for the poor I'm not saying I'm any different but I'm just letting the facts state if I were you I would not visit this year I would go elsewhere Try bay area hospital I know that their sister hospitals but I have to recommend that 1 And I hope that you accept and take your loved ones to a safe place that will treat you immediately not put you to the side.

Corpus Christi Medical Center is on point!!Professional, Courteous and Proficient.Their staff is stellar. I appreciate them and wouldn't steer you wrong. Trust me, they take excellent care of their patients! One of Corpus Christi's best kept secrets. KUDOS to the staff that represents this establishment. Thank you CCMC we're so blessed to have you.

I have had to admit my elders parents into this hospital within a week apart from each other. The staff,nurses and doctors have worked with my family to ensure all our needs have been met. The facility has been well organized and very attentive. I'm from another city and this hospital has surpassed any hospital I've had to deal with.

I had heart surgery almost 5 days ago. This is a he'll hole. I can't sleep.i don't have room which means I don't have a bathroom at all. I have to use a portable toilet. I smell like a homeless person. I have to get out of here.

Was at ER w my mom had to call twice for a nurse to take her to Reat room because the nurses were too busy talking about what they had for lunch. We were right across the nurse station and a 3rd nurse saw the other two kept talking so she got up to help my mom. Luckly she got up because my mom was about to get the bed wet! Because they wanted to talk about their pasta they had at lunch. although the NP was extremely nice!

I had a hip replacement surgery requiring me to be admitted overnight. I got into my room at 10:15 am, I was in a lot of pain but the male nurse said I would have to wait. After a couple of hours I again asked for pain medication because I was in extreme pain, the same nurse, Ben said he was in charge of my pain meds and would decide when or if I would get any. I asked what my doctors orders were for meds, he told me my doctor left no orders, which was a lie. I laid there in severe pain until 7:30 pm until a staff doctor came into my room, I explain what had been happening, she said let me check your chart, she returned a few minutes later and said"why would they do this to you". I told her nurse Ben was on an ego trip and just wanted to show me who was boss. She ordered pain medicine which I got but after she left this aid came into my room and said nurse Ben called another doctor after she left and rescinded her orders for pain medicine.I swore it would be a cold day in hell before I would ever stay in this hospital again. Well here it is a year later I need two knee replacement surgeries and I just want the hospital to know I will be going somewhere else. Even though I like my doctor I told him I would have to find another doctor for my surgeries since he only does surgeries there. He was really upset, but I told him nurse Ben had screwed him and Doctors Regional out of two surgeries. I made several complaints to the hospital about what happened to me but never received an apology I did have a female call me asking me to change my evaluation and when I said no she started yelling at me over the phone, I just hung up!For gods sake do not go to this hospital, the other nurses had terrible attitudes also.

The WORST patient care I have EVER suffered through in my whole life, in-fact I left after only having my vitals taken because I was not going to get treated like shit when I just got into a head on auto collision with my kid and I have severe nausea and pain!!!! Specifically by nurse Patty! Yet I received very large bills, even though I was NOT seen! I rather die then go to an ER ever agian!!!!!!! Lady, I already did that the same day I posted this review!!! I got that number from the previous review made on yelp. Calling that number still did absolutely did nothing to help! Worst ER ever!!!!! However, I do see Mr. Mertz at Family Practice Associates of C.C at DRMC and they are very nice and have great patient care, unlike the ER.This review is based on my horrific ER experience and never ever again!!!!!!!!!ER's in Corpus Christi seem to be horrible even Bay Area Medical Center ER!!VVVVVVVV

Love the ER staff but they need more people. We are CURRENTLY waiting for a bed on the floor. 13 hrs and counting. Because they are short handed i had to get help for my mom often. I couldn't leave because I knew they couldn't be there for her. Im going on 54 hours no sleep. This sucks that I can't leave because I'm afraid they won't take care of her.

If I could give a negative star I would. This is the worst place to go for care. The nurses are so over worked they forget about patient care and dignity. Charge nurses think they are something special and are above patient care. This hospital cares more about $$ than patient care.
