Very friendly staff. Always clean and well kept. Considering how old the facility is they've done quite a good job. I will make sure to go each time I'm in the area. Thank you CCGR.

I used to go here when I was younger with my Dad, but they don't do live dog racing anymore. I've been here a couple of times recently. You can still do wagers for races from other tracks which are viewable on the TV screens they have. It's mostly horse racing and maybe some dog races too. They have a bunch of tables with chairs and little TV's on them for viewing the races, a bar, and a lounge area with seating and larger TV screens. You can buy some programs for races. I'm not sure how much they normally cost, but for the Belmont it was $1.50. Minimum wager is $2.

Perhaps it's bad parenting to take your children gambling - however - I love to go to the race track on Saturday's when they have their dinner buffet. It's really reasonable pricewise for dinner. My kids usually like a couple of different things on the buffet. My husband and I get to enjoy a night out together and we bring the kids along. We eat, I have a beer, bet on the dogs, have fun and still get home early enough to miss all the drunks on the road and watch Saturday Night Live. Occasionally - I win. So - make a long story short - food okay, entertainment okay, drinks okay, waitresses not always around for the refills, but bar not far away. It's a fun night out.
