Contender CrossFit

I moved to Corpus Christi knowing no one, now I have a whole box family in Corpus. This is not just a gym but a welcoming friendly environment that will help you excel your fitness journey. The coaches will always look out for YOU and what YOU feel comfortable doing. I have been to other CrossFit gyms in bigger cities but this box will always be my favorite. Ervin, Celeste, Bash and Yaz are all you need to succeed. These coaches dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to this gym by continuing they're education and skills inside and outside of the gym. They are a great team and great people who built a great community! Don't say you're scared, contender offers so much all you have to do is ask. Be vocal and they will listen. Go start your journey with Contender, you will not regret it!

I am in town often for work and drop in regularly. The members and staff always make me feel like family and everybody is quick to welcome me as a guest.

Great facility, with awesome staff and customer service. Dropped in for a day, and they could not have been more accommodating.

Awesome!! That sums it up in 1 word. My wife and I are both military and visiting the area. We messaged about dropping in and got a response in 10mins, the coaches were super nice and welcoming as were the athletes there! Definitely hope to visit again if we are in the area!

I travel for work and took advantage of Contender Crossfit's very generous drop-in program. I attended the 7am workout with Coach Alexis and had a great time. The sign-up process was very easy, and the coaches were very responsive via email. The facility is clean, well organized, with all the equipment you'd need to get a great work out. I highly recommend this gym and hope to be back again.

Great CrossFit gym!! Fantastic coaches!! So warm and welcoming. I dropped in today from out of town and felt like I was home in my own gym. Can't get better than that!! Home away from home. Thank you Contender CrossFit!!

Awesome atmosphere and great coaches. I dropped in on a Tuesday night and was welcomed right away. The coaches are very knowledgeable, take the time to ensure movements are done correctly and give plenty of feedback. I enjoyed the class so much I came back the next morning for the 5:00am class... new coach and group to workout with, and still a great class. A great experience all around! Next time I'm in Corpus Christi I will be swing by again! Thanks for a great workout!
