Connie Hagar Wildlife Sanctuary

This wildlife sanctuary is right on the main road from Rockport to Fulton Beach. It's practically right in the middle of things! It's a place that's popular for bird watching. The shallow beaches, tall grasses and swampy marshes in this area make for an ideal place for birds to hang out and eat whatever swimming in the shallow waters. There isn't anything here, other than some markers and places to pull off the road and be on the lookout for birds. There are no restrooms, gift shops or anything like that. It's a good place to hang out and watch the sun set- sometimes there's even dolphins hanging out here! This place isn't really so much for the people of Rockport, as the birds of Rockport. They get a lot more use out of it than the humans do.
