Coleto Creek Reservoir & Park

This park has been a great place to tent camp, rv camp or cabin camp. The lake is low because of the drought in our area, but it's still a good place to fish or go boating. RV sites are shaded and good sized. The campers are friendly and respectful of each other's space , as far as my experiences go. The park rangers are friendly, patient, and helpful.

A very nice park. Clean with great staff, they allow pets. Good for tents or RVS. we were in "overflow" which is an area they leave open for people like us, who who didn't reserve anywhere on a holiday weekend (4th of July). They have restrooms and showers.

Wednesday Thursday late August-so peaceful. Serene grassy slopes to beautiful sandy beaches. Sites 3-6 close to restrooms. Nearby Fannin and Goliad great for history buff.

I've been here many many times with every experience being exceptionally well. Park entrance fee is $9 a vehicle and $10 on holidays. However, that will last you all day. I don't know how much it is to camp, but I do enjoy spending the day here fishing and/or swimming. There are a lot of bench tables a lot of trees which provides a lot of shade. I definitely would recommend this place to you if you just want a day to get away and not have to go so far. There is a fishing pier. It's not very big but it's big enough for the amount of people that are there. Some people do like to bring their boats and just boat around.

This was our first time here. It is a great camping park. It's really pretty. This was our grandkids first time to go fishing and camping. The only negative thing was there is mold in some of the bathrooms on the toilet paper holder and no soap to wash your hands. This was the bathrooms near spots 46-52.

Nice park, not happy with boats already parked in front of our "premium " waterfront camp site. Boaters constantly walking thru our site from their "standard" camp sites.
