Coach’s Island Grill

Great breakfast with a good price. Our waitress Emily was amazing we were watching her work and she handled a huge rush with ease and grace. Hostess could have taken some tips from her, she never smiled the whole time we were there. This is the number one place for breakfast in PA.

There was at least 8 people outside waiting to be seated. Luckily, I walked in alone the hostess quickly cleaned up the only open chair at the bar! Perfect My waitress was super sweet! I ordered coffee, OJ and the steak & eggs with cheese on my hashbrowns! The steak said it was made with cheese sauce (I was Leary) when I tell you it was delicious OMG! It was fantastic! I didn't have room for a pancake but the guy next to me had ordered one it looked amazing! This is a must try, you will not be disappointed! Great football memorabilia all over the walls, great family atmosphere definitely welcoming!!

A new larger location. They were super busy. Breakfast was good but the staff was spread a bit thin and I got my meal about 5 minutes before my dining partner. That was kind of odd.

Gotta hand it to Coach's... darn good breakfast! We stopped in about noon on a Sunday, not breakfast time for sure, but Coach's pounds out breakfast until 2:00pm everyday! It was great! Service awesome (Thanks Rokki!), the foo was delicious, and even Coach's signature salsas were a hit with this crew! BTW... Coach's serves bigtime burgers and lunch fare after 11AM!Our first visit to Coach's, and the Yelpers' guidance was mixed. We're here "off season" so not really sure what to expect! Coach's out-performed our expectations... The place is so fun and cool, if you know anything about sports. I don't mean being a fan, but if you know anything about sports, there are memories on the walls... football, baseball, boxing, car racing... you know it, the sport is represented here! So fun to see all the memorabilia!Next, the food... we kept it simple with a Coach's Original (an egg, sausage, biscuit, toast) and a Double Play (two eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, toast)(I had the Double LOL) and Rokki treated us with a side of a biscuit and gravy as a sampler... all of the food was off the charts good... yeah, a breakfast diner kind of place, I can only imagine how crazy the wait is "in season!"The entire experience was so enjoyable... mostly locals dining this AM, but we fit right in. PS Coach's in-house salsas are awesome too. We'll likely go by for lunch this week for a burger/fry lunch combo and grab some of the salsas. Definitely and HIGHLY recommend Coach's Island Grill for a great breakfast and/or lunch in Port A ... get you some of that!!!

Great spot for breakfast if you can get in there, unfortunately not a lot of seating so there's always a wait! They offer a $5 breakfast so a crowd pleaser but there pancakes are delicious and just so you know they will bring out whatever is put in the window so food gets to you hot so if there's 2 of you one of you might get there food while the other waits a few minutes, just a fyi so be patient and enjoy.

Stopped by for breakfast. Breakfast tacos were good. 1large taco is enough. Decent prices. Ask them for their own homemade hot sauce. Lots of signs around to laugh at, including the ones in the restrooms.

Awesome!! Worth the wait. I looked at Yelp for breakfast places. Coach's Island Grill came up. Easy to get here. I arrived about 930am. They have both bar seating and tables, and LOT'S to look at . The food was amazing. The service was excellent. My server took my order and less time that I could complete a word game, my food came out. Great taste, hot. I ordered the 2@Double play. 4 eggs, 4 Bacon, 4 sausage, the plate came with choice of toast (white, wheat or rye) or a biscuit. You must have the pancakes. The plain one has lots of pecans. I will definitely be back.

This place is so good we got seated immediately. The ambience was very good tiny cozy restaurant. I got the pancakes with hashbrowns and eggs with bacon and the bacon and pancakes were good. The pancake was so good. You should try it when you go there the eggs they were not seasoned, but they were pretty good the hashbrowns they were pretty crispy.

Fast, quick service with a good basic breakfast on the island. Kiddo approved as well.

So good. Best pancakes and street tacos. Super nice wait staff. They closed for the Christmas Holiday but were responsive to us and let us come get my husband's credit card we accidentally left behind.
