Cindy's Cafe Restaurant

We took in the recommended Cindy's about 11:45 after church one Sunday. Server was pleasant. We had French toast, eggs & bacon. Well prepared and enjoyable. Nice place and price reasonable.

This is another hidden gem in the RGV. We came with friends who'd been there before so we knew it was a decent place. That was confirmed when we pulled in and saw four Texas State Trooper cars and a couple Border Patrol cars as well. After we got our food we KNEW it was a real gem! Several of our ordered the Ricky's Special Omelette, which is basically filled with everything but the "kitchen sink". It was a huge omelette served with hashbrowns, refried beans and tortillas. Both guys loved it. Oh, the price was $8.99! I had Huevos a la Mexicana with fried potatoes, refried beans and corn tortillas and a little green salsa. Nice sized portion and really reasonably priced at $4.99! Service was really good too even though it was fairly busy. We'll definitely be coming back.

The food was tasty and the place was spacious. The waitress was very attentive and polite. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars was because the price was way too expensive for breakfast. Other than that, it's decent.

Highly recommend. Food is delicious no matter what you order. They offer a variety of different choices for reasonable prices. Staff is very welcoming. I have been there at different times of the day, and even if they are busy they always manage to service you quite quickly, and if it's for carry out, it's only a 10 minutes wait!

Our party of 6 all thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I enjoyed the chicken salad on croissants with fresh fruit. Service was great at a low price and with no waiting!
