Cinco de Mayo Restaurant

The environment is always very pleasant. I have visited several times and had different menu items. The service is always polite and gracious. My breakfast taco with bacon egg potato à la Mexicana is excellent. The migas plate is excellent. Unfortunately, today, I was unhappy with the pancake plate. The egg and bacon and hashbrowns that came with. It was fine, but the pancakes were not tasty at all. There was no flavor. It tasted like flour and water only. Overall I enjoy the restaurant. I just won't order pancakes anymore.

We tried the carne guisada and fried pork chop breakfast plates. The food was tasty and fresh! Meals come with fresh homemade tortillas, and the coffee was good. The service was fast and friendly! I believe this restaurant has only been open for a short time, but two things I noticed that need some attention.1. No one greeted or acknowledged us when we walked in. We had no idea if we should seat ourselves or wait. The staff looked at us but didn't say anything, so I had to stop someone to ask. Since no one was keeping an eye on the door, someone who arrived after me was seated before me. 2. It was very warm in the restaurant. I'm not sure what was going on, but the thermostat by the register said it was 80 degrees. They had the fans on, which helped a little bit.
