Their sangria swirl was a "peach sangria." Not good. In fact, it was god-awful. We got the appetizer sampler, and the nachos (whatever cutesy name they call them) had almost no cheese nor beans at all. They were barely bruschetta. The only thing edible on the sampler were the flautas (and they were taquitos). The bartender was over worked, and the one helper she had spent a good twenty minutes talking to one table. I'm done with Chuy's - scaled down menu, sold out to a big conglomerate. There is no way their standards get better.

Good eats here! Came in for dinner and started in the bar. HH so had a margarita and HH appt of beans/guac/salsa and chips $5 bucks. Darn good chips.Stayed in the bar 2nd margarita and chicken soft (flour) tortillas beans, rice and guac. The chicken tacos are fajita style marinated in Shiner Bach and cooked on chargrill. Delicious. HH goes to 6pm, nice quiet with an outside patio. Definitely recommend.

Chuy's is a pretty easy go-to if you are looking for consistently good food. Tonight I started with the guacamole and ordered the combo fajitas. Guacamole was good and the fajitas were tender and delicious. My server was very pleasant and friendly.

Loved it! We sat in the bar on the foggiest day of the year. Ok, maybe not the foggiest day of the year, but the only day I was there and it was super foggy. I was glum going in, but the enthusiastic service, yummy chips, guacamole, spicy ranch sauce and queso cheered me up. This was my first time in this Texas chain and I'll definitely be back. The tortilla soup was great! My companion ordered a steak fajita burrito and it was gigantic as well as tasty.

Always love Chuys. The jalapeño ranch and boom boom sauce are my favorites! I get that on top of a chicken chimichanga - excellent! The staff at this location were very accommodating and courteous. Not to mention the food came out pretty quickly. Note, we did go at 5pm on a Saturday so our wait time was significantly reduced.Definitely recommend!

This place is okay. It's a decent middle-of-the-road Tex-Mex chain. I have felt that way about it since having my first Chuy's experience in Humble almost 20 years ago, and still feel that way about it today. In my mind, it's basically the Chili's of Tex-Mex. Chuy's is an Austin native Tex-Mex chain that has since proliferated throughout other parts of the state. In fact, as of writing this, Chuy's turned 40 this year. Happy 40th, Chuys! Despite how average their food is, I believe one of the reasons for their popularity is their margarita options, happy hours, and chips and salsa bars. Also, all of their locations are old school Austin "funky Tex-Mex" festive, which combined with the aforementioned, probably makes for some great experiences. I will say they have done a good job at corporate branding. They are all basically the same, from layout, décor, food prep, and service standards. I, like most other consumers, do appreciate it when a chain maintains consistency, and for that they deserve a fair amount of credit. This particular location is right off of SPID, in an area surrounded by hotels and other chain restaurants. It is in an ideal place, IMO. I would not normally go out of my way to come to a Chuy's but would not totally avoid coming here either.

First time I visited this establishment on 7/2/24 I was greeted by Mia my server also known as cupcake she was very knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks first she had brought me chips and salsa as usual any Tex-Mex restaurant both the sauces were absolutely delicious then I had ordered a taco plate with a Corona Extra dressed in tahin and lime food was very good with the exception of the Spanish rice tend to be dry and Bland other than that it was really good I would recommend this establishment for family and friends and businesses

I am so glad that Corpus Christi has a Chuy's restaurant. I've spent most of my life in Austin and this place reminds me of home and brings back many memories. This Chuy's definitely has imported the Austin vibe with everything from their Taco Cat shirts to all the little odds and ends hanging on the walls and ceiling. Our waitress was super friendly and never neglected us and was very mindful of our needs, including topping off our drinks and chips without us needing to ask. That's 5 star customer service.Chuy's has a new menu item recommended to me by our server called the Green Chile Relleno Combo. It was awesome! You get to have your choice of either a chicken or cheese chile relleno and the type of sauce you want it drizzled in. I chose the chicken and one of the medium heat sauces. I'm so glad I chose medium because it did pack a bit of a bite which I liked. Anything else hotter that was on their menu would have been too much for me. We also ordered their beef fajitas. I don't care for them as they are just ok to me. Nothing to write home about. I also ordered their new raspberry margarita. Wow, it was packed full of raspberry flavor! It was dang tasty and I was feeling petty good after having only just one. It's a good thing I didn't have to drive after leaving the restaurant. Their chips and salsas are par for the course of what they always serve. The jalapeño ranch dip is like crack for me. I have to force myself to stop eating it because it is so delicious. All in all, I give this Chuy's location 5 stars. They never disappoint me.

Just finished eating there. Food was good. Store was about half occupied. First thing, I ordered a large meal, and no napkins or even a plate to put my food on. Had to ambush a random worker to ask kindly for these items. Ran out of drink, then watched the tables around me get service offers from the waiters numerous times while I sat there, wondering if anyone was going to check on me even one single time. No! I had to ambush another person, as my waitress was nowhere to be seen. Had to beg someone to find her so I could get my check and leave. For $30 a plate, it would be nice to get napkins, a plate, and a refill on my iced tea. Apparently that's too much to ask!
