First time parasailing
Up up and away
My wife checking out the scenery. This picture really doesn't capture the height.
The crew keeps everyone safe and happy.
Coming in for a soft landing.

My daughter and her friend went this morning and I'm so glad we chose Chute 'Em Up for parasailing! They were so nice and experienced and we had a blast. The weather was perfect and we will definitely do it again! Highly recommend.

Such an awesome experience here! Jack and Sean did such a great job hanging with everyone on the boat and making sure everyone was safe and comfortable. You can see cool sea creatures while up in the sky, cool experience for those not afraid of heights!

You have to try it! We recently took a trip to Port Aransas, and wanted to do something fun. I have always wanted to parasail so this was an easy decision! It was easy to make a reservation online, and if you have members of your party who don't want to fly, they can go as a spectator for a reduced price. When we arrived, we had to sign a waiver, and watch a quick safety video. You can add a photo or go-pro video pack as if you like. After that we were off! The water was amazingly blue, and we even saw dolphins. There were 12 people on the boat. Before your turn they harness you up and you put on a life jacket. The captain was super nice and will ask you if you want to be dipped in the water. He just dipped out feet. The parasailing itself lasted 10 minutes. It was such an amazing experience, and felt like we were flying through the air on a giant swing. It was really peaceful and people on their boats would wave as they went by.The crew was super nice too! Make sure to take cash to tip. I am ready to go back for round two!

Bucket list checked! Great experience! Definitely recommend to travelers looking for a great thrill! Purchased the package with the photo options but disappointed and realized my SD card was not readable! Luckily one of the other boat riders were able to capture this moment with my phone. Definitely ready to do this again!

These are the guys to parasail with while in Port A. Friendly and efficient although were easily bribed by my husband to fully dip my mom and I to our chest in the Ayer rather than just our toes. It was pretty comical though

Yay!! Chute 'em up Parasailing is so fun! Shawn, the parasail instructor, is super nice and patient. VERY patient. A family on our boat was from Ft. Worth, but they originally lived in Seattle. The family of five referred to each other as Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister and...well, they didn't really talk to or about the middle child. Mom and Dad have been married for 20 years and the Dad has been a business owner for 41 years--in real estate--and he doesn't think he knows if he could work for someone else. The family is staying at Port Royal, they normally visit Florida--they love the beach in Destin--but right now they're trying to find places closer that they can drive their RV to, which makes Port A a good destination because they can drive here in just 8 hours. They've been to Corpus, too, but didn't really like it, they think there's more to do in Port A. Only one of the kids was eager to Parasail, but Brother--the 1st born--was most nervous. Brother wouldn't even get on his dad's Harley--well, he was okay with the trike, but the motorcycle made him nervous, so obviously parasailing would make him nervous, too. Brother eventually got on the Harley and since then he's loved it!! According to Dad, anyway. They have a boat too, but it's not as big as the parasailing boat. Dad said their boat is a 21 footer, Brother corrected him and let him know it was a 24 footer. Anyhoo--once Brother got up there he had a good time and Dad wanted to take a picture and post it on Facebook so Brother's girlfriend could see what a good time he was having. They went to the swing bar for coffee this morning, because the buffet at Port Royal is closed due to Covid (Port Royal has decent beds, though, which is important when you're almost 60. Which Dad is, his birthday is tomorrow.) Did you know St. Augustine is the oldest town in America? We all know that now. St. Augustine is known for its lighthouses, and in Port A there is an active lighthouse that we passed to get to the point from where we parasailed. We saw some dolphins, too. Brother has been going to Gatorland in FL since he was this high. Mom took some GoPro pics of the dolphins and forced Brother to take the GoPro when he went parasailing. When Mom and Dad were up on the parasail, Mom managed the GoPro, and all three of the kids asked how much of a bribe it would take for Shawn and Captain to dunk their parents completely in the water (we would have contributed to that bribe!). You could tell they were thinking about it, but based on everything we had heard to that point, it didn't seem like Mom and Dad had the sense of humor to receive that well. Dad thinks it's too bad everyone in California has ruined that state, and now people from California are moving to Colorado (Shawn is from Colorado, did you know? It's about all we managed to find out about anyone on the boat other than Dad) and people in Colorado are making their way to Texas. Specifically Austin. Dad informed us that Californians want to divide California into 3 states, and he thinks people can't agree to disagree anymore. After parasailing, they were heading out fishing and they specifically asked for a captain with a good personality. At one point, Shawn said that sometimes his boat gets passengers that just don't shut up. The three of us thought that was funny....Dad went on to tell us that Tennessee, Texas, and Florida don't have state income taxes and Shawn should be happy that he no longer needs to pay state income taxes. A lot of Dad's friends are moving to Tennessee from California, because California is ruined. There were 2 other women on the boat with us, we don't know anything about them. Maybe they're from California. Chute 'em up parasailing is a fun, high-flying adventure and it's a must if you're in Port A! Oh and btw, pay attention when Captain and Shawn pull in the parachute. Wow. P.S. Mom looked at our shirts and never figured out what they said. Bfubi, Escktc, & Tinghes

Super easy to get to - though if you're taking the ferry to get there, be sure to give yourself plenty of time. The ferry app said 15 minutes. But our wait was over 45 minutes!Parking is right there on site. And the young lady that met us at the desk was very nice. You are required to watch a safety video prior to getting on the boat. It is very informative & worth your attention! They were prompt & right on schedule.Once out on the water, the crew explained what was going to happen & rode around a bit to find the best place to get everyone in the air. There were 2 people (going up together) before it was our turn.It was fun just watching how it works.Once it was our turn, the crew assisted us in getting on the harnesses, then adjusted the life jackets for a snug fit.He assisted my friend to get into the sitting position in order to get us up. (the boat was a bit rocky)Then before we knew it, we were going up, up, up!The parasailing was really FUN!The wind decided to play some games, so there was a bit of turning going on.The view was fantastic!Since the winds were a bit tricky, for safety reasons, we weren't able to get dunked. We felt safe the entire time.Chute 'Em Up Parasailing gets a 10/10!!

I booked a trip in July for my 16 year old daughter's birthday and I received a phone call October 2nd to let me know that my October 9th trip is canceled because they don't run trips during the week in the month of October. I asked why they didn't let me know in July when I booked and was told they couldn't answer for decisions the manager makes.
