Church's Chicken

I don't think I've ever commented on fast food before, but really exceptional service at this franchise.

Saw the Bourbon Black Pepper chicken on the outside menu and decided to give it a try. Five bucks and you get half a chicken....a small chicken. The flavoring of the Bourbon Black Pepper is delicious. Really, really good. However, the skin becomes rather tough ...at least with my sample. The chicken inside was still pretty moist, but there were some areas I couldn't really bite through. Really enjoyed the chicken I could get to, but maybe back off the heat or length of frying a little??

Great sides, love the mac n cheese, mashed and gravy. But, the chicken is a little hard for me.

This was really good. Running tight on time, showed up thirty minutes before closing, and ordered a sizable meal. They where prompt and got it out to us with no problems. Being sceptical on chicken fast food places, I really checked out the reviews and was relieved this place was right on. The parking-lot needs work and an update on the building...the food is good to go.

I'm from San Antonio and this Church's Chicken is way better than all the Church's Chicken Restaurants in San Antonio. We always eat here when we come to Corpus Christi and the chicken always taste delicious and the service is good too! Keep up the good work! I wish we lived closer so we could come here more often.

Worst Service Ever, Staff Doesn't Want To Do Thier Job. When Ordering A Meal They Get Upset For Big Orders. Quit Your Job If You Can't Do It.

talking to the owner, please have your staff bulk prepare chicken around 6pm, this location is always out of chicken and sides at dinner time and it's a super popular location. I've lived 3 minutes away from this location for 2 years and I never come here because they are always behind on orders at dinner time. the surge in business is very predictable and I always see people driving away because there is 3 or 4 people in drive thru, I do it my self, because if its after 6pm and there are 3 people in drive thru you know it's going to be 30mins to an hour to get your food. there is so much money left on the table because this location boxes not prepare well for the dinner rush. please help, we love churches chicken but we've probably come here 5 times in the past 2 years because of the wait and always running out of sides. it's so close that if times and availability of sides were better we would have come 50 or 60 times over the past few years! but because of the constant lack of preparation we never go here unless we are just absolutely craving fried chicken and nothing else would do. please churches take our money we are more than willing! all we ask is chicken in under an hour.Edit: got my food awhile ago, wait was 37 minutes (I went inside instead of waiting in drive thru) and after I ordered they ran out of Mac and cheese, okra, and coleslaw. I ordered Mac and cheese and coleslaw........ I have fries and mashed potatoes at home! That is all that was left! Please fix this location!!!!!!! It's so frustrating!!!! Will not be coming back here unless things change. KFC isn't as good and is further away but at least I'll get what I ordered and it will probably still be faster! Just to reiterate this is the typical service that is offered at this location not just a bad night.

lady kept cutting us off while ordering, also only had half a gallon of sweet tea and took 15+ minutes on 2 combos of 3 chicken tenders. food was alright

OMG have tried to spend lots of money in the last three months with this place wanting to buy for family mills but always always a 25 to 30 minute wait never have enough chicken to serve on my last trip I asked him what do you have to sell their response chicken that'll take you 25 minutes! This should be considered slow food not fast food. Understand the waste factor on chicken but you always should have enough chicken to fill a small order of eight pieces mixed my last time here!!!!! Have to add on just pulled up pick up my order they gave it to the guy in front of me now they're telling me 30 more minutes for my my chicken lolReally not that hard to put chicken in the fryer and Cook !! HOLLY HELL i'm sure this is a franchise churches chicken needs to qualify their owners buyers co-owners

Employees are decent, but we spent $35 on tenders and some sweet tea and when we asked about cups to pour the sweet tea in, we were looked at like we were crazy. We were handed tiny cups with no lids (keep in mind that we were taking the order to go. I asked if we could have some small cups with lids and we were told we were going to have to pay for them. What is the difference? I'm buying sweet tea it's just in a bigger size? The place is disgusting.
