First things first, this is a beauty supply only. Don't think by any stretch of your imagination that this is a black owned establishment or that the staff of knowledgeable about black hair or can offer you guidance on how to achieve whatever you're looking for. The simply have the products you need (mostly) for your to diy. Most of the prices are pretty reasonable. A few things are way overpriced but you pay for convenience. The owner is usually behind the counter and he's always courteous. There are tons of items to choose from. I can't speak to the wig selection as I haven't traveled down that road at this point of my life. I visit at least every few weeks and I would recommend.

Recently visited this supply store after not finding what I was looking for at Sally's. I truly wish I can give this business zero stars.Once I arrived to the actual store I was leery of getting out of my vehicle. The outside appearance was horrible...I wasn't sure if the store was open or under construction.Once inside, what a cluster of items thrown all over the place. The owner I imagine does not greet you and was very rude, he just stands and peers over the store, he does not ask if you need help finding anything in the mess of a store. I politely asked for a particular item and he basically pointed. I should have taken that que to leave and take my business else where. Why have a store selling items in a Blk/Brwn community when you can't even recognize/acknowledge us when we come into your business, giving you our hard earned $$$?"Get it together Christine's!"We keep you in business!

If i could give no stars, i would. The owners are extremely rude, and sadly not educated on black hair. I went here about three times before making the decision to review and never return. Any questions that I ask-the owners simply give false answers instead of openly saying that they do not know. They get defensive when I try to kindly educate them. Please take your business elsewhere.

Just to start, My family and I visited, for vacation, from Austin, TX on June 6-10, 2020.On, June 20, 2020 (Saturday) there was a pending charge for $175.17 from Christine Wigs & Beauty Supply (in Corpus Christi) by using my husbands debit card. The thing is that we did not lose the debit card. We have it in hand. His debit card number was stolen. I went online to check the business in question and I noticed that they have no website. How did they use our credit card? On June 22nd (Monday) I called Christine Wigs and asked them if they have an website to order and pay online. They said no? I asked about how we can order and pay? Just because of COVID-19 regulations I didn't know if they have some kind of procedures they do. I asked if customers can give them credit card info over phone. He said no. That they get the credit card in person. Then I let them know that they have a employee that either only took credit/debit cards numbers down to make a charge instead of using the physically card or that thy have an employee buying merchandise using "stolen" numbers. He went in defense mode. Said, he checked the ID with the credit card. How is that possible? I told him, when I said this purchase was for this past Saturday in person in Corpus Christi and that we physically have the card and we are in Austin, TX. He had no answer expect saying that I was wrong and he kept being defensive. The way, with whoever answered the phone acted is making me suspicious. I see no other way how they could have used our debit card but, to illegally use the numbers. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.I cancelled my debit card and contacted my bank on, which they ended up refunding the amount and told us they will call the authorities. I just submitted this letter to the Better Business Bureau scam tracker. The owners or staff who answered the phone was just rude. It isn't good practice. They should have at least looked into the claim as a concerned business but, they didn't want too. Spend your money on an outstanding business that cares about the people. A business that looks into possible fraud and possible illegal misconduct (by it's staff). Unethical! This is sooo sketchy.
