Choche’s BBQ & Bar

This place is an amazing hidden gem. It is hidden with 2 other establishments but is very big once you get in. The prices are very reasonable and the food is amazing. Being a native of Texas this place has some top tier bbq. With that being said they have won numerous awards and recently in 2024 some bbq awards at the SA Rodeo. Eagle pass isn't known for very much these days regarding food but this should put them on the map. They service is good and the restaurant has a huge area if you want to have a big gathering. It also has a full bar for the evening and closes late. They have tons of beautifully smoked meats and sides. If your in Eagle Pass this is a must. You will be surprised.

BarBQ in Eagle Pass that has brisket to brag about, it's soft, tender, tasty, and melts almost like butter in your mouth. But luckily almost, cause otherwise you would miss out on the delicious experience while chewing it. Interior is your basic BarBQ spot, including the helpful and friendly service. I'll be back next month and this is definitely a spot to return to. I recommend it to a colleague/friend and he sent me a picture letting me know that he went and loved it!

Overall a legit Texas BBQ Experience, do recommend the brisket as it may be the best along the US-Mexico border. The street corn is a favorite as well, do try the award winning key lime pie!

The turkey was good but potato salad had no flavor the ribs I got all fat no meat. you want jalapeños they're gonna charge you! All for $25 not worth it the most expensive lunch I've ever had.

Stopped by yesterday for a quick bite to eat. Food was delicious! From the brisket to the corn, beans and even margaritas. Wish I could have tried the key lime pie but we were in a rush. Great space to go with a group. Definitely need to go back! Yum!

Ordered Brisket to go. The flavor was good but all the pieces were mainly fat. The potato salad was okay. Food was Not worth the $70 we paid. Wanted to like this place after we made several attempts to go here and they were either closed or sold out every day that we went. Disappointed.

First time here. Staff very attentive and project pride in their food. The brisket was very tender and flavorful. Spare ribs fell off the bone. Turkey on the dry side. Beans very flavorful but a little too salty. I also sampled their Texas Twinkies (brisket stuffed jalapeño) and smoked pork belly. The Twinkie was good and the pork belly fantastic! Great food & service!

Great food!!! Pulled pork and brisket are really great! You can't go wrong with anything you order but be there early!

This has been the best Brisket I have ever tried. I'm not big into brisket but the brisket sandwich here is incredible. If you like corn get the street corn as well! Not disappointed. So good that I'll be going for a third time in a week span.
