The staff were all so friendly and kind. There was always someone on the floors making sure things got put away and that there were no trash laying around. There weren't anything broken or damaged while we were there. Honestly if we lived in the area I would probably get a membership pass. The prices are listed as an all day pass, so we were able to go play, leave to eat lunch and came back. We were able to stay right until the last minute, we weren't rushed out or given any kind of rude comment.

We went here for their Easter Egg Hunt this year. Our kids loved that and all the museum setups. Cute place. Just think adults should be free to come in with paying child's tickets. They have two sides from the ticket counter. One side is a little more for bigger kids but everyone is allowed there too. It has a lot to do on this side. A kitchen, crafts, food truck, boat, dress up and more! Then the other side is in a giant room with not a lot of things to do. There was a really cute playhouse and camping area my kids both loved. Then some blue building things and a kayak to play in. But this room is huge and should be broken up and add a bunch more setups for the kids like the other side. Anyways, the Easter Egg Hunt was awesome here! They even let your kids plant a flower in a little pot and take home, plus decorate a paper Easter basket, face paint and rabbits and chicks to pet. :) and of course the Easter Bunny was there to take pictures too

I was intrigued to find out that there was a children's museum. Since I was invited for a playdate and I was curious to see. I come from a big city where we have a big children's museum so I wasn't expecting something similar and is not fair to compare. So this place has lots of potential but lack lots of interactive activities for the kiddos to enjoy. They need to put on exhibits for the kiddos to participate. I know we should be thankful that at least there is something for the children to play but they need work which there's plenty potential to make it better. I know most of the stuff is donated; so i'm sure it was not easy to renovate and have what they have. nevertheless, my LO loves to play there, and even though is not as big and is needs improvements what matters for me is that my LO has fun which he does. Now, I found this place helds birthdays and is the only place you can have 25 kiddos included in your package, I decided to held my LO 3rd birthday party. I went multiple times to speak with them in order for me to have all I needed for the party. I asked plenty of questions and decided to do the party. Secondly, I reserve the date over the phone and I even called to remind them about my reservation which I received two emails one was a receipt for reservation and the other another receipt of completion of my payment. So now the day of the party we arrive an hour before to decorate and met with the staff which they were at first nice and courteous. As my family and I started to set up, we met with a unprofessional person. She was all over the place, asking and telling us all kinds of inquires that made us feel so uncomfortable. You see i'm an event planner and I did my due diligence before hand to avoid all of this and she made me feel like we were doing something wrong or we were going to do something criminal. Also there is a refrigerator in the party room which in my experience I thought we can stored food items however, quickly we found out it wasn't so and once again the way she handle this was rude but it was a simple thing to fix simply put a sign on the fridge saying Staff only. It was weird to have a fridge in the party room where customers can't use but it is what it is. They already have taken my money and I went on because this was about my LO and a special day which this lady was about to ruin, however I kept my calmness and she kept come in and out with ridiculous inquiries that I felt like why didn't you took care of this ahead of time. She even threw away our ice but not the point, she obviously is not a party coordinator and they need to handle events in a different manner. For her to show my husband the contract agreement the day of the party is not professional. We never seen this agreement, therefore I don't remember signing this but to say oh well it would make feel better if you could look at it was not appropriate and not relevant. This is something you show your customers ahead of time in order for the customer to know ahead time the rules(do and don'ts) of the place. Not after you have taking our money and the day of the party. The host that was there to help me, she was helpful and kind but the manager needs to treat people better and not act like a crazy person. I was pleased that my party turned out great despite her unprofessionalism, all our guest enjoyed. But I don't think I would have another event there. They need to find a party coordinator that knows how to handle customers professionally and do a better job.

We were so excited to find out there was a new children's museum in Victoria, but were very disappointed to see what little they had. The old Playhouse movie theater was gutted and painted to have only a few activity stations, story area and a large open room with some legos and big building blocks. It was basically a daycare with no helpers or employees to work with the kids. The designated "science and engineering" activity was the kids painting with long paint brushes. Very disappointing especially since they spent millions on this renovation. I would not recommend.

Thought I'd post this while I had a little break. This is a place which definitely has potential. BUT. Can they keep people? Most of the time it seems like new people who are learning on the job. With one or two faces I've seen regularly. They have decent activities and you're able to use your receipt all day-which is astounding if you ask me-and the staff in always nice and for the most part engaged, with good customer service. Its a pretty good place to visit when the weather is too bad or cold.
