Charros De Jalisco Sports Bar And Grill

We went to this restaurant to have an appetizer and a drink, just to relax and wind down. The restaurant was clean and the furniture was nice with a real Mexico feel. The waitress was sweet. We ordered and the food and drinks were great. Our problem came when the check arrived and had different prices. I am the first to say I completely understand inflation and had we been told prices were higher that would have been fine. My husband mentioned the price difference and was approached with attitude. It was a mere $2 but because the manager was so rude it made my husband mad. He never raised his voice or was mean. The manger immediately threatened to call the police if my husband didn't pay the $2. It was overboard. If I was the owner I would hire a new manager. You never lose a customer over $2 or risk a bad review

Oh gosh. They have good drinks but definitely tried giving us spoiled charro beans the other day. God it was absolutely disgusting. They were grey looking and smelled like vinegar. Never again! I would not recommend. (This is now named referees) the server tried to offer refried beans but at this point we didn't trust it.

Ordered beef fajita tacos this evening. I would say that about half of the fajitas were sinewy & tough. I was offered no apology or replacement offer. The manager was rude in her response; never saying anything else except "that's the way they (fajitas) come." Their computer system crashed while we were there. Perhaps she should spend the money she saves from purchasing substandard meat & use that to upgrade their computer system! This will be the last time I set foot in that place!

This place is a complete rip off 30$ for 3 hot old beers. WORST bar ever. awful service. watered down drinks. bad music. worst worst worst worst bartenders ever. I dont even understand how its possible to not pour a shot correctly.

Im so happy this bar was open later at night and during COVID. Me and my boyfriend were on the way up toSan Antonio and needed to stop and eat and we had decided on Chili's but saw Charros De Jalisco on the way so we decided to stop here instead! I was so good, my food was literally hot the entire time which made it so hard to but the rest away in a to go box because it was just so damn good lol

I've been coming here since 2017. And I love the food and the service. Kudos to the employees and cooks.

The food was flavorful. The salsa was yummy, not too hot. The pastor torta was not the pastor that I'm used to, but it had good taste and it was big too! The tortilla soup flavorful, a bit spicy but not too bad. The asada and fajita tacos were good and very filling. Peach margaritas were light on the tequila but good enough. The ingredients were fresh as far as the lettuce tomatoes cilantro avocado and the such. There were only a few patrons, and the waitress was very pleasant and polite. There are tv's on several walls if you wanna watch the game. There's a bar area with bar stools and there are tables and booths. We sat at a booth. The booth benches were hard and uncomfortable and a bit too high for the tables which has you kinda hunched to eat. The place was clean. I would come back, though next time I might be seating at a table instead of a booth.

Service okay. Food was good, but not so outstanding that if I lived here I'd be back. The beans were an odd color, one bite and that was all I wanted after that. Rice was okay but not much flavor. It is good place for large groups since there is plenty of seating. Chips and salsa were very good.

If I could select zero stars that would be the rating!The food is awful & the service is worse! The staff don't even care that they are awful either.Never going back. DO NOT GO!

Came here with a large group of people. Most of the servers were nice, but there were problems with getting things out in a timely fashion. I had the fajita and enchilada plate; the rice was hard and dry, and the enchilada and fajita was just okay.
