Great Chicken puffy tacos , Friendly waitresses, except for one , think she was the manager , a little rude and always on her cell phone

The moment you enter Cerrito Bar & Grill & seated, you get greeted with a menu, and served complimentary chips & salsa. It's hard not to notice the salsa is very fresh, served warm. I usually request more salsa because the flavor is amazing! After a few dining experiences at Cerrito Bar & Grill, I've become a regular customer whenever driving down Hwy 181 for work. And I make sure I'm near Cerrito Bar & Grill just in time for lunch. Daily lunch specials are provided, including the iced tea. I've tried several menu items & lunch specials, everything has been consistently good, generous portion. My favorites so far are the Carne Asada Tacos Plate & The Texas Plate which includes Carne Guisada & Cheese Enchiladas. The Carne Guisada is very good, reminded me of the traditional recipe I use to enjoy as a child. With so many variations of Carne Guisada recipes out there in many restaurants, Cerrito Bar & Grill certainly brought back childhood memories. Cheese Enchiladas are also very good. I usually substitute refried beans for charro, definitely worth it! Tortillas are homemade, both flour & corn. I usually request my tortillas well done for added flavor. I'm not a fan of under cooked tortillas. Service level is consistently good, except sometimes service level could be slow on trying to get a iced tea refill. I usually also request a " to go" cup ahead of time. For the most part, I've enjoyed every dining experience, look forward to exploring the menu many more times!

My go to order is the mini tacos and steak Al Mexicana.Meat is super flavorful and tender. The salsa that you get with the chips is there best salsa.

Stopped in for late lunch a very non descipt restaurant in a strip center service was okay the chips and salsa were good but had a unique taste maybe a refried over tone main dish was chicken enchiladas verde the enchiladas were ok just didn't seem seasoned enough the verde was pretty goodAll this being said a good plate of food with a marg for 18 you can't go wrong

Food was okay, server was somewhat rude because we showed up 30 minutes before closing. It was hot, don't know if it's regular for the place or something was wrong with AC.

Plenty of food. Good prices. Fast service. Clean. Good food. Nice ambiance. Full bar.

Came for dinner it was not worth the hype we ordered 2 burritos they were made wrong .we told the waiter like 3 or 4 times asada n charro beans inside of it only once they got to the table they had lettuce tomato n other stuff SMH ‍.Sent them back and they came back with Asada & half charro n half refried beans come on then we also ordered a mojarra fish and asked for limes we got spoiled limes for it .

Worst Mexican food...tasteless & poor presentation.The cheese enchilada was unappetizing:A bright red soggy tortilla almost no cheese and drowned in a tasteless brown sauce.The $5. guacamole was a strange whipped & oddly green mess that was not fresh & tasted awful.Tortilla chips were burnt and hard...NOT GOOD!!Ate 2 bites & gave up. Stopped at Dairy Queen on the way home.

Food and drinks are great! Love the fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimp! Service is fast and friendly! Never disappoints!

Amazing service the food is amazing and they have great horchataDefinitely recommend this place for a go to
