Horrible. Well, the food is OK (pricy), but,The stories of the husband, not a place you may want to give your money. Apparently there has been some real shady stuff (allegedly-- gotta say that, right?)Anyway, they have rebranded but it is still the same bad apples. Just look at the cc receipt.Some might say: shady shady

We had a pretty good feeling we were in the right place when we saw a sign that said, "Be patient. This is not fast food." This is definitely authentic Mexican food... Like the stuff that you get in border towns in Mexico, seasoned beautifully. The salsas had great flavor and a little bit of kick without being painful. The atmosphere is just like a small town restaurant and the owner/employee is friendly. This is a must place to eat when visiting North Padre.

Talk about hidden gem! When I walked in I felt like I was at the San Antonio market. Very nice setup here. But more importantly the food was amazing. Flavor packed. Seasoned well. Hot sauce was awesome. Homemade tortillas. Really nice and accommodating staff. Highly recommend and will be back!

What an amazing find on Padre Island TX!! When in town for my birthday we decided to check out the local Mexican joint, it was amazing. Had the carnitas and they were delicious, the menu does change every day. We also started with a couple appetizers, the spicy guacamole and the chips and queso. They were both amazing and we were all very full afterwards. I would definitely come back. The service was great and very friendly. Inside, looks like an authentic Mexican restaurant. They have done a really nice job and if you like authentic Mexican food, this is your spot!!

Probably the best food in Padre! I have are here many times and always had the perfect meal! Place is beautiful and very clean for dining experience!!! Thanks so much!

Honestly speechless. The food here was amazing. Authentic and just delicious in every way. We got the chicken tacos and carnitas and just about licked our plates clean. The beans and rice were also fantastic some of the best I've ever had. The homemade corn tortillas were something out of a dream. Wish we would have taken a picture but there wasn't any time for that

Phenomenal! Small and appears family run. The menu changes daily but I suspect it's all great. I walked in and they are making fresh tortillas... for me ! They were out of salsa for chips ... kinda crazy but maybe it's a good sign. The queso and chips were like crack. The queso paired with everything. Enmolada chicken enchiladas withe a fantastic mole. BAM Friendly service

I don't understand all the great reviews that brought me here. Chips? AMAZING. That's where its comes to a screeching halt. The salsa is more like a tomatoes sauce and stove hot. I disliked it so much I wasn't even tempted to dip my delicious chips in it. Got a $10 dollar order of "spicy guacamole" which was not spicy nor guacamole. It was a mashed avocado and more chips. My beef tacos were unseasoned ground beef. Kids chicken taco was unseasoned and husband said his taco had no flavor. Beans were too tho. And the rice was mush. Not to mention its a semi chipotle get your own stuff place. Another one bites the dust

Food is so tasty and homemade flavors. Most dished under $15 and such large portions.Staff always helpful and smiling, owner is always cooking right there. Tortillas made to ordered and everything is hot. So clean, music always nice Mexican music . Love coming here so much.
