Get the Hushpuppies! On a road trip south, from Houston, we stoped for lunch; very worth the diversion!It's not right off 69. It's nestled about 5 miles west of 69S. Food is great and right next to an ice house, The Wellhead Tavern. We ate until full and had a beer before heading back on the road. Definitely stop, eat, rest and leave, very satisfied.

Amazing food good service....we just stumbled upon this place while looking for something to eat late.

First time customer, so I didn't know what to expect. Ordered take out and they told me 20 minutes. I get there about 5 minutes early and the food was just coming out! Friendly staff and fast service, literally in and out. When I got home me and my wife were very happy to find all the food was delicious and hot. Would definitely recommend and will be going back. The location is at mockingbird now btw, and that's the one we're reviewing.

This place was awesome! Tried it for the first time and we all loved everything. Started out with a huge order of really good fried pickles. Then for the meal, our table had corn dogs, grilled cheese the chorizo jalapeño popper panini, and fried catfish plate. All of it was AWESOME. Their hush puppies are so good and everything was done really well. We'll be back!

If you like really greasy fried food then this is your place. I can't handle fried anymore so that's why I gave a 2.

The food was really good but man they don't give you much for a $14 plate. We were expecting a lot more for the price
