Good people, good food, and good times - correction- Great times. Stopped here to eat after waking for a cup of coffee, cruising to Aransas Pass and back, 4WD over 40 miles of sandy beaches, putting feet in the gulf and toes in the sand, then watching the sun set. This was a great way to conclude such a great day. Our server was outstanding, she didn't hover but was attentive. The music/singer was more than on point. He sang and interacted with everyone willing to just enjoy life, the food, and the ambience. A must go! Offers Military Discount as well. It will not disappoint.

I have been here 4 times now and will not return. The food is really good (comparing to other places in the area) but the service is REALLY REALLY REALLY bad...just trying to say it in a nice way!!! There is 3 waitress, the older lady is also busy but the 2 younger ladies are face planted in their cell phones. I have been sitting here for 27 minutes trying to get another drink and have been ignored. When asked if I could speak to the manager, I am told that the manager is only here in the mornings. So probably that's the issue......no manager...no one really cares!!!Anyway, I will NOT be coming back...EVER....there are plenty of other places here in the area that has the same quality of food with much better SERVICE!!!

I walk in with just over a half hour before closing, I'm aware of this so I'm trying to be considerate. Well all staff just completely ignore me. The waitress I sorta understand, she's got other customers. My main issue was the young lady at the counter. She's not acknowledging me as I'm standing in front of her while she has a conversation on her phone. I'm reasonable and considerate so I got no problem giving her a minute to wrap up the conversation and then end the call, but SHE NEVER DOES. I don't pay attention at first to her conversation cause I ain't rude and nosey, my first thought is she's with a customer on the other end. As I'm waiting longer and longer amazed at no one acknowledging me, I listen to her conversation and it sounds like a personal/gossip call. Something about someone not wanting to work and that makes me think "WELL APPARENTLY YOU DON'T WANT TO WORK EITHER!!". Eventually the waitress took my order but I was seriously fuming on the inside and wouldn't recommend this place on that one poor customer service interaction.

$18 for Mexican mini tacos and a tea is ridiculous.I asked the waitress why it was so expensive and I was told that the prices have increased but they haven't changes the prices on the menus. Not sure that's even legal. Won't be going back.

Fist Time eating at this place and it was late so I was scared I was going to have awful service because of the time I arrived but I had great service and it was the best Mexican food I have eaten over the last 10 years I will be back in the Corpus Christi area next weekend and will be taking my whole family to eat there this place impressed me so much with the taste of all the dishes I triedSmall restaurant but great food will see how they handle a large group when I take my family there

Update: Decided to upgrade my review from 4 star to 5 stars. I caught myself salivating a river running out my mouth as I salivated on the memories of the plate I had at this new restaurant. This place is grossly underrated and deserves a way hire rating. I highly recommend checking this place out. Old review: Came in during the peak of dinner on a Thursday evening and there was plenty of open tables. If this review was based on the beans alone, this review would be a perfect 5 star! Portion size was hefty and service was decent. All around a good TexMex restaurant. Highly recommend checking out this new restaurant.

They messed up my son's order twice and didn't get it right at all, therefore he wouldn't eat. They gave me the wrong margarita. I told them, they still charged me the price of the margarita they chose to make. The 3rd time we told them our queso never arrived, they brought us it as our food arrived more than an hour after we ordered. My son in law took a couple bites of his meal and had to rush back to work, already being late. I heard the employees talking about the gringos, us, being difficult and laughing about us. The manager says that lunch at any place takes that long. A total waste of $82 for 4 people who didn't get much of a lunch. I've been here many times, considering I live in the Bluff. Never again!!

we got there at 11:07 there was only 7 other tables it took them around 10-15 minutes to bring out chips and salsa and around 50 minutes to bring out our food my brother in law had to leave for work and was unable to even eat because of that we asked for caseo and it wasnt brought out until the food was brought out they messed my order up twice and when we asked them why they said that's how lunch was they didn't understand English we asked the worker do you know English and they said no and brought in another worker who said I know english a little better and she still messed my order up they are unable to understand any specifications on food they will make it exactly the same every time their like a fast food place for medivan food except their not fast and the foods as expensive as a restaurant we spent a hour and twenty minutes total when there was only 7 tables

As noted by several people the downside is the service. The girls were playing on their phones and not paying attention to the customers. If you walked up to them would respond in a reactive way vs a proactive approach. The quality of food was good therefore the 3 rating. Had the service been good my ranking would have been much better. The wait staff need to leave the phones at home.

I ordered a large menudo and all I got was caldo, no meat. Very disappointing. I ordered through Uber eats because I don't have a vehicle and is the only reason I didn't go to the restaurant and complain in person .
