My family has stayed at Casa Condos numerous times to usually have a pleasant and fun experience. After our last stay in unit #402 and the unprofessional incompetence shown by the staff and management, we'll be taking our business elsewhere. We stayed in unit #402 from 6/28-6/30 only to experience one problem after another. First our unit door wouldn't lock at all and you could simply just walk into the unit and we were told nothing could be done. Then one shower was inoperable and the other nearly impossible to adjust the temp on. I can't forget the several exposed electrical sockets hanging out of the wall or the fridge that left a leaking water puddle in the middle of the kitchen floor. All great amenities to have when your wife is pregnant and you have two young children with you. I had brought this to the office staff's attention and was told nothing could be done until Monday and a lot of good that did us. I also expressed our disappointment and requested to speak to the property manager (Matt) whom wasn't also available until Monday. After no returned call and several attempts I finally spoke with him, only to get a condescending unapologetic joke of a response, with empty promises of addressing the matter. Once again, after several attempts I finally get a response that "I should have let the front office know before they closed my invoice, because it's very difficult to do anything after the fact with their payment merchant." Not only did I express my dissatisfaction and point out that paying $1200 for two nights with all these issues to the front office staff, but nothing was suggested to remedy the situation. After a month of no returned calls and excuses every time I attempted to speak with the property manager, I finally reached out to the Corp. Management (CCMS LLC) and was told the Director of Mgt. (Casey) would address the matter and reach out to me. Yet after all this unnecessary efforts to express my disappointing experience, we still haven't gotten anywhere. The company has truly shown its inability to rectify a negative experience and should really do some quality control. Save yourself the headache and stay at Holiday Inn!

Perfect Stay Even in the Storm! - Reviewed by WifeOur family had such an amazing time staying in this adorable studio with our teen girls! Even with the storm, the weather was always perfect for us when we were out on the beach or exploring the town. As for the staff; everyone was very nice and friendly, helpful when needed and always around! Our room had everything we needed, very comfortable, and clean. Our girls slept in the comfortable king bed, while we slumbered soundly on the sofa bed. We usually always end up taking one of our nieces or nephews with us on our trips, but this time we just wanted to be with our girls and I have to admit; I was a very happy mom watching my family bond, laugh, talk, and love one another. The hubby and I are doing something right! Thank you for the accommodations and the experience! We will definitely come back down with the rest of our family this summer! BTW, since we were on the first floor by the pool - I happened to catch the plant care taker and got a chance to chat with her about the beautiful tropical plants that she lovingly cared for on the property. I can tell you she does this out of pure passion as you can see it and hear it while she shares with me a story about each one she touched. I love to be out in my own garden myself, but for her to have such a passion doing what she does everyday in her career was very rewarding and humble to witness. She truly deserves some recognition - she truly is a gem on your property!

My family and I stayed in unit #109 this past weekend, it was perfect for our family of two adults, a 16 year old and a 8 year old.Pros-Kitchen was fully equipped and this unit goes out straight to the pool. Not to mention the cross over walk to the beach was very close. You get the best of both worlds pool side and beach. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Exchange of bath towels at front desk. The landscaping was beautiful and well manicured. Building was kept clean through out our stay, Pool was cleaned every day. Cons- restroom could be bigger and the furniture is a little out dated. Again this is not a resort its a condo. I can't complain for the summer price/water front. In conclusion this place was recommended to our family and I will recommend this place to family and friends.

This was my group's fourth year making the Port Aransas trip. The number of people ranges from 10-16 and we always rent a big house. This year our house fell through and Casa was a last minute find. After just a few hours on the property we all agreed that we will be staying here every year!First off, you cannot beat the location. You are right on the water and almost every condo has a view of the beach. It was maybe 60 seconds from walking out the door to sitting in the sand. Both of the condos we had were clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and couches, and had kitchens that were fully stocked with cookware. They had EVERYTHING we needed to cook with. The hot tub is huge, my entire group could have fit in there. The pool is also a good size and both are great temperatures. We also saw them being cleaned and covered each night so they are beautifully maintained. There are grills in the pool area, we didn't use them but we may next time. The staff was SO helpful and kind. We called on our way down there to see if we could check in early and they had both condos ready by the time we arrived at 2 pm. The beach is also fantastic. Very clean and not at all overcrowded. I don't know if there just isn't public access to this part of the beach but we felt like it's not as busy as other areas. We were thrilled with our stay and I almost hesitated to write this review because I want to keep it our little secret :)

I think the previous reviewer was reviewing the Cortez Condo's that are closer to 361 and not Casa Condo's.Casa is a fantastic place, with beautiful views and a fantastic staff! we have visited every year since moving to Texas in 2005.Casa is close to Port A, and 150 steps from the Gulf...we love CASA!

These are really nice condos, I will give them that but the site can be deceiving. We traveled with another family who was staying on the bottom floor(beach view) we (thought) we chose the condo above them on the same side based on the numbers match up but the way the condos are numbered is a bit weird and we ended up being on the complete other side. Also there was an incident one night were some of the kids witnessed a man videotaping them from the rooftop, upon informing the guy on duty in the office he gave us some bs about the guy being on the committee for the building and that he does that to survey the building. We then were informed by another family staying there that the same thing had happened to them and that the same guy had given them a different story(saying he was looking for glass in the pool) what bs! After raising hell and speaking with security we were informed that the guy who has up there lives up there and that he should not be videotaping anything. Words were exchanged between the guards and the guy in the office and then we were informed that it would be thoroughly investigated. I did wake up in the middle of the night around 2am and saw security guards walking the premises and I will say that we have not seen the man on the roof again. A bit of a weird experience which is why I only give it one star, for location. But other than that, the rooms are nice and clean and the beach is nice. I would advise to stay away from Casa if you travel to Port A, especially if you have children. This incident made me feel very uncomfortable.

Beware of Casa Condominium cancellation policy and how it is interpreted. Policy states "cancellation must be given five days prior to arrival". I cancelled via telephone 5 days prior to arrival due to pending tropical storm (cancelled on 17th of month for arrival on 22nd of the month) and they did not not honor the cancellation policy stating it was within (less than) 5 day notice. They do not count the day of arrival as a day of notice for cancellation and I did not receive my deposit back, but they did offer to apply it to a future stay. I doubt I will be using them in the future.

Had a great stay at this very clean condo right by the beach! 1st time here so didn't know what to expect for the price and couldn't be more pleased. Walk to the beach in minutes or swim in the nice pool or hot tub, place very clean and staff very friendly, slightly older facility but room was as advertised and spotless. Plenty of free parking outside. Definitely will be back again this fall or next summer!

Weekend getaway for 2 the weekend before Labor Day. Room was poolside but it really didn't matter because the proximity to the beach was incredible! We were so close there was no reason to be in the room except at night. Just far enough from town so it was very quiet but close enough where it wasn't a thought to get in the car and go. Condo was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Have I mentioned how close it is to the beach?!!! Great weekend and we would definitely stay again.
