Carnitas Michoacan

Puffy Tostadas and great guacamole are just the beginning of this restaurant great eating experience. I've had their Deluxe Mexican plate and the Certified Angus Ribeye, both exemplified great cooking skills!

This is a real hole in the wall place with good food. Their carnitas mixtas tacos are the best. Topped with cilantro and purple onion and a habanero salsa. So mouthwatering. Give it a try! 2 dishes that were kinda disappointing were the barbacoa de borrego tacos. I thought they were a bit too salty, so they were hard to eat. I've also tried the pozole, and was sorely disappointed. I hope they can improve on these dishes because they have a lot of potential! The service is excellent. No complaints.

Best carnitas i've had in the RGV. I had 1/2 lb of the mixta (cuerito, buche and carnita). The meat was cooked to perfection. Not greasy at all. Tortillas i believe are home made. If not, inwould like to know where to buy them cause those suckers were good! Salsas are good! Everything was good! Plain and simole, come check them out for your carnitas fix!

Great Tacos awesome service. Definitely worth a try. They have amazing hot sauces and chips to try them all. We went for lunch and had tacos de Birria and well as regular tacos. Highly recommend for authentic Southern mexican cooking.

Excellent carnitas taquitos! Prices are affordable. I also tried tacos al vapor and tacos de bisteck. They all were very good. They have fresh lemonade. Owner is always ready to help. Highly recommended!

Small place with big taste! We have been back this year for the 2023-2024 winter Texan season. Again, we were impressed and very happy with the taste, amount, selections, and service. This is not a fancy place but a great choice for beef, pork, goat or lamb with an array of sauces, plenty of tortillas and chips along with friendly service. They do a fantastic job! Try it. We are going again today!
