Very clean store with exceptionally friendly staff. I have visited the location in Porter, Tx twice and both times I was impressed for more than one reason. My first impression upon entering was there's no smell of meat in the air. There are some places where the smell can initially gag you and this store is the complete opposite. The second reason for a great first impression was there's warm welcome. Acknowledging a customer when they enter is very welcoming and makes one feel as if they are eager to help and appreciate choosing to spend money with them. We smoke meat often. We purchased the marinated chicken leg quarters and ground beef for burgers. They usually have seasoned burgers formed for sale but they didn't have any during this visit which was fine. They offer a wide selection of meat options from high and A5 Wagyu, to options as simple as what I chose. Lastly, the Michelada mix is exceptional. We've had this bottle for over a month and it still tastes just as fresh as the day we opened it.

Wow - I am really impressed by this place. It is VERY clean and really nice inside. The employees are all very friendly and seem to enjoy working there - and this matters. The meat is excellent and they have a great selection. There was an issue with my first order here, and a team member - Martin - reached out to me to make it right. These days, few places still understand good customer service, but this place still gets it. I will be back - many times.

Ask for Danny! This place is the real deal! Coming from Los Angeles we have found that the "Fajita" cut meat is NOT what we are used to this. This place meat is outstanding!!!!!!

Great premium selections of meats to choose from. We bought some Australian Short Ribs, A5 Japanese Ribeyes, and Australian Wagyu Ribeyes. All were delicious! Workers are very friendly and we will for sure be back to try some other ones

First time buying from the Tomball Hwy 249. I bought 3 prime ribeyes and when I got it home to season them one the of the steaks was bad. The meat was mush. I called the market to let them know that the steak was bad to get a refund on just the one bad steak. Person over the phone said they don't have steaks and only fajita meat. Told them I just left there 30 minutes ago. Then the person hung up on me. I had to take a 20 minute drive to get there. So would be 40 minutes round trip. Brought back the steaks asking for a refund. They made me wait to get a refund. They put me on the phone with a Walter that told me he would call me back in a minute to see what he could do for me. Never got the call but the cashier finally gave me a refund. Needless to say I'm not going back to this place. Terrible service to go along with bad meat.

Great premium selection of meats. The staff are very nice but not the most knowledgeable about what they sell (i.e. they weren't sure of the prefecture of the Jap A5 wagyu when asked at first). Lots of room for improvement but I enjoy having a good meat selection not too far from home.

As soon as you walk in, I felt drawn to the meats (which isn't a new thing). I've been known to take pics next to dry aged beef display at HEB...but this time, i was too awkward to photo op because of the 'carnicerios' behind the counter all look photo-ready and would've insisted that they pose in the photo as well which would've made it even more awkward...Anywho, this place is amazing. After researching far and wide for outside skirt steak (OSSS) at every kbbq in Houston and failing to find it (HanDam had it on their menu years ago), I decided it was time to grill it myself. HMart sells them for $29.99/lb and they give you measly portions. I ended up buying more than the OSSS like i intended to because of the hypemen behind the counter. They didn't really try hard to upsell me. I was literally not defending myself against the upsell. IF they tried to tell me to buy the A5 wagyu, I would've declined because that is too fatty for kbbq. Australian wagyu chuck steak- 3/5 probably better if i marinated this but for kbbq, it's not good. Prime sirloin 3/5- probably better if I just salted it and not marinated it.Prime picanha 4/5- sous vide and finished on the cast iron. melt in your mouth! Next time, will come for the thiccest fat caps. OSSS 10/5- I'll be back, boys...i'll be back....If you haven't tried OSSS for KBBQ, you're missing out. All you need to do is cut in strips, season liberally with salt, throw in the fridge to dry it out a bit and take it out when the grill is ready. I'm so happy to drive 22miles to this place. I may make it a once a month thing.

I have been a loyal customer since this location opened, visiting every weekend on my way to my property in Columbus. Until now, I have never encountered any issues. However, I recently purchased 15 vacuum-sealed steaks for New Year's, and when I opened the packages, I found that the steaks had a were sme and discolored.I called the same day to speak with Danny but did not receive a resolution. I also sent several messages without any response. Additionally, I attempted to reach one of the owners, Bronco, through multiple texts and voicemails, yet I still have not heard back.Given that I spend nearly $800 every two weeks, I expected better communication and support. Unfortunately, due to this lack of response, I will no longer be supporting this franchise. I have brought them considerable business, and it's disappointing that they couldn't even return a single call.
