Great breakfast spot! I suggest the Chilaquiles Rojas or Verde. Wife loved the fruit waffles. Friendly staff and good coffee.

So my wife has been wanting to go here for a while now...so we went on a Sunday afternoon. Bottom line...the food is okay...the servers work their butts off....BUT they really need help. They only had 2 servers for the entire place.... honestly they were running around like crazy... going table to table. They do everything...clean the tables, take orders, pour the drinks, bring out the food, and they also take the payments. First...the place is cash only so makes you wonder, why cash only? But there were about 20 tables....some with 4-5 people...and only 2 servers? Even just one person to help them clean the tables would've been a huge improvement. But on to the food...the chips and salsa are great! Super homey taste...the salsa felt like it was freshly cooked...it had a nice taste with enough heat to it. So good start....we ordered a mixed breakfast plate (eggs, pancakes, bacon) for my kid, my wife had bistek ranchero, and l had the chilaquiles divorciados. As I said...the food was okay. I actually had to think about what my wife ordered, it was that "okay". I asked my wife if she liked it and she it was alright. Here was my issue...I showed the waitress a picture of a plate on their FB page...she told me they were the chilaquiles divorciados. I asked her that is what I wanted...the plate has on one side, red chilaquiles, then fajita in the middle (whole), green chilaquiles, and then potatoes and beans. I asked if they could add chorizo and eggs on the chilaquiles. If you look at the picture, that is not what was given. They diced up the fajitas...put them on the chilaquiles, and put chorizo/eggs in the middle. I wanted chorizo/eggs on the chilaquiles, not diced fajitas. This changes the flavor profiles dramatically. The fajita on its own was delicious, but I didn't want them on my chilaquiles. The waitress as soon as she put the plate down told me "there's a problem". I told her it was fine and still ate most of the plate. The chilaquiles were good...but how do you bring me a different looking plate when I specifically showed you the picture of the one I wanted? On a sidenote...the potatoes needed some seasoning and the beans were a little dry. And did I mention that it took about 45 min to get our food? I've seen their reviews...and their comments that since the food is fresh it'll take time. But you expect food that is point for that long of a wait...plus the actual plate you wanted. It's not worth the wait....

If you are looking for a home flavored restaurant this is the place. If you are not a patient person who gets hangry this is not for you. Due to COVID, the capacity is at 50% which means the wait time is longer than expected. The food has good flavor and comes in a nice presentation. The service could use a little work but overall they true their best to get your items as fast as they can. The menu does not show what drinks they have and if you drink a lot of soda, they have the can ones which means no free refills. I gave it a 4 review only because they do not accept debit/credit which meant I had to look through the truck for cash. I would recommend this restaurant if you want a taste of home food.

We experienced warm and friendly service on a Thursday morning. I ordered enfrijoladas with queso fresco. The serving was huge. The sopita (served as an appetizer) and the perfectly crisp potatoes served on the side were my favorite, but everything was really delicious.
