Oh, how first impressions can fail. After becoming a somewhat regular of Italia, we began to see a gradual decline in the quality of the food. We always get to go (just one inside visit) so always get our food nicely packed and ready for carrying. The real problem is that the food just isn't prepared to a high level of consistency or to decent quality. My wife almost always ordered the Chicken Forest and me either Chicken Parm or Alfredo. She quit with the Forrest because she said the chicken was just coming back too well done. She went with Shrimp Florentine this time and liked it but thought it needed more spinach and mushrooms. MY chicken was actually burned on the underside. Burned. Italia isn't right around the corner so it's a major inconvenience to return it. I would have if we were inside. There were spots it was actually burned to the bottom of the aluminum pan it was delivered in.Just not sure we're willing to give them another shot...the quality has fallen off since our first visits...and this last one was very disappointing.

the calzone is perfectly delicious, it also came with marinara sauce that changed my experience from great to amazing. l was also expecting it to be smaller, but it's a good size for the price. The tiramisu is pretty good for my first time trying it. I never went inside but they got my order delivered pretty fast.

Great selection of fresh luncheon specials, offering choice of salad or soup of the day with most lunches/dinners. Tomato sauce isn't quite of flavorful as my Italian wife's but, all a matter of individual palette. Fast and friendly service with a very clean environment. Daily specials on the chalk board to the right. Probably not a busy as most Corpus Christi restaurants and that fine as it provides YOU with faster dining/individual service ...

We really liked this place! The restaurant is clean and nice inside. The servers are super attentive. I ordered the baked ziti with meat sauce and my husband the chicken Marsala. Both dishes were very tasty and portions were generous. Delicious mozzarella sticks too! Good prices for good food!

Excellent service with a definite Texas accented server. And we have concluded they need to bottle that garlic lemon butter sauce!!! The Chicken Francese Lunch Special was over the top- chicken was lightly breaded and not over cooked. The fried calamari appetizer was tender although sadly our first choice of fried ravioli was not available. Ambiance was cafe style not a traditional Italian restaurant old world design which certainly complimented our price tag because we weren't paying for a venue just great food for a reasonable price.

My boyfriend and I had a great dinner here. The waiter we had was awesome, super polite and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the food was amazing and we both loved everything we had. The shrimp in my fettuccini Alfredo were huge! Overall, really great experience and we will be back next time we are in town!

If you have eaten true Italian food before, don't even try to step foot on this place. The spaghetti bolognese is bizarre to say the least. No red sauce, it's some strange shade of light pinkish orange sauce... the meat that they use is not of good quality. Same for the lasagna, it's probably some fake horrible meat. I truly don't understand how this place has such good reviews. I guess people who go there just don't know shit about food.Service was super slow, we waited such a long time for the food, and our faces when we saw the food was like wtf? No, just no.
