Most common fish caught off the pier are black drum, speckled trout, red drum, and catfish.The boardwalk is an excellent place to walk for enjoyment, to birdwatch, or to exercise.Not too crowded unless it is a peak day in the summer. Overvall a good small town beach park area with above average amenities."

"Depending on what section of the park u are in your review will be different. I had a great experience camping. We were close to the restrooms and showers which was nice. People in the area were respectful and the campsites were big. One side of the park seems like the original section and it's not too nice but it's only for rv's.I can't wait to go back."

"Thank you, Karen and Dennis, for a wonderful few days at The Copa Copa! This may very well be the most beautiful and meticulously maintained site that we have ever stayed in! Ya'll thought of everything anyone could possibly want and gave attention to every detail. The pier is beautiful and just draws your eye out to the bay and the gorgeous sunsets. It was the perfect place to sit and watch the fish jump, a few dolphins swim by, and the sun sink below the horizon. Wherever you choose to sit on the site, you can't miss the amazing and beautiful sunsets-easily the highlight of each day! The lush landscaping and beautiful palms make it a true tropical oasis. The site feels so private and is so quite, peaceful and restful. We also enjoyed walking the Rockport Beach and the Tule hike and bike trail, and were amazed at the herons and egrets roosting in the trees off Fulton Road! Thank you for all the info about those areas! How lucky we were to get to meet you and share this amazing place with you for a few days! Thank you for being so warm and welcoming and kind! The wonderful boat trip through the Rockport canals was an unexpected bonus and highlight to our stay. There are some beautiful areas in Rockport, but I think the canals are a hidden gem!We loved and enjoyed our little vacation and definitely plan to book some future stays. You guys probably won't be our neighbors the next time we visit, but we count it a blessing that we got to meet ya'll this visit and can now call you friends! "My family and I stayed at this rv park for several days and loved it. It was such a nice place, full of trees and plants...not just a big concrete slab like some places you see. The owners were real nice and helpful, and it was great being out in the country under the stars. My wife couldn't believe they had laundry and the kids loved the playscape. It felt real safe to let them run around and we will definitley be back next time we come down this way!"

"We were super excited to stay here. The pics on the website looked great. We had no issues booking and the lady on the phone had great customer service skills. But...the day of arrival I received a nasty voice mail from someone at the resort demanding to know what time we would arrive and informing us that we would not be admitted after 8pm. However, our receipt clearly states that arrivals after 8 will be charged a fee. I was ok with that. Well as it turns out, thanks to Houston traffic, we were going to be set back. My husband called the park to explain as was treated like crap over the phone. He ended up just telling them to cancel. We'd rather be out the money for a cancellation than stay somewhere that clearly doesn't want us there. Super rude staff. Very disappointing."

"This KOA RV park is approximately 18 months old and is immaculate! The staff is super friendly, informative and helpful! Plus, they maintain each site so well. We got to see them clean the site next to us and wow they did such a thorough job! They pulled weeds (hence why the grass is amazing and free of stickers, which my dogs greatly appreciated because it's hard to find a sticker free location in the corpus area), thoroughly cleaned/scrubbed the grill, disinfected picnic tables and chairs and watered the grass. It's just absolutely fantastic how well they maintain their RV sites and really go above and beyond for their guests. Not only was I greeted with a smile upon checkin but we were also guided to our spot and even assisted with backing in the RV. Plus, we got to enjoy a live band and beach party on Saturday with half priced wine margaritas. Fun in the sun! Lastly the 3 bathroom and shower combo rooms (located by the front office) were spotlessly clean, the reception is stocked like a convenience store with all the things you may need and there are two dog parks available for the pups. I cannot recommend this place enough. Hands down the best KOA I've ever stayed at. And have you seen the view? Water all around. A+++"

"Nice location - you have free and total access to "Carl Park", boat ramp and a nice fishing pier on the river (it's a pretty deep river) for your outdoor pleasures like fishing, kayaking, canoeing and etc... Also, you can cruise to the Gulf of Mexico VIA the river in a short time. The river is literally a short walking distance from the RV Park. The owners Eddie and Renee are very nice people and live on the premises. You can do your laundry here as well. Check this place out!"

"This has got to be the best RV resort in the area. What a great location! Beach access is within minutes. And you can drive and even rv on the beach. Their customer service is unparalleled. Sites are excellent, clean, flat concrete pads, all hook ups etc. But the best is their folks actually looking out for you. And the laundry machines are constantly dirty due to the large amount of people staying there. The park is 90% full of people from one company. The manager only cares about the company (IEA) And will kick you out if they tell them too. Do not stay here very uncomfortable feeling. And just remember they don't give a s*** about you"

Would have loved to have stayed here longer but we had to get home. Loved that the staff leaves open spots on the front door. We pulled up to the office, looked on door and they had about 3 open spots in a good location. We paid $55 for 1 night but it was worth it. Staff is very helpful. Several staff members told us good morning as they were starting the cleaning of grounds. Awesome view of the bay and we could see Corpus's skyline at night. Close to good restaurants , a Walmart and the HEB grocery store. I hate that I didn't get to take any pics."

"My husband and I have lived here several years and we love it! The staff and management we currently have, have been great! They know us by first name and our pets, the grounds are kept up, notices go out during bad weather, they have made sure rules are in place and followed to keep it safe for the kids and pets. We have had no issues with things not getting repaired in a timely manner and are quick to respond when needed. You won't regret staying here, whether it's a day, a week or long term you'll love it!"

"Came here during spring break. I thought I had a reservation for Goliad state park. I didn't. In a panic I searched for RV Parks in the Goliad area and found this one. It is laid out very nicely. The sites are large and level. Wi-Fi is good. Cable TV is good. The people here are really laid-back and very nice. I think in the future, when I come to this area I will stay here again and drive to the park."
