"I had the ultimate burger and almost could not finish it is was so big! First thing about it was the meat, REALLY good! Perfectly seasoned with some really good spices, not sure what but amazing flavor. The Jalapeños were a little more spice than I usually like but still good. The onion rings gave it a great crunch! They must hand bread them because the breading is very good not like the pre-breaded that most places have. My wife had the fish and shrimp with fries and she said it was very good. The only disappointment I had was the fact that they only have Pepsi products. I don't like Diet Pepsi I wish they had Diet Dr. Pepper as an option. Friendly staff. We will be back!"

I had huevos rancheros and hubby had chorizo egg plate. Both came with generous amounts of beans and potatoes bacon and 2 huge flour tortillas. Try this place if you are in the area. Our total bill before tip was less than $9"

"This little place is quite a gem for Freeport! This is a quiet little restaurant for dining in or ordering take out, and our waitress was the sweetest and nicest lady ever. They have to largest menu in town! From classic apps, to seafood platters, to oriental cuisine, you're sure to find something for everyone. The food was straight up fresh (we could hear it cooking in the kitchen because we were the only ones in there). When I say this food is good, I mean it. This isn't your Red Lobster or overpriced only-restaurant-in-town type. These people care about food and dining. The prices are reasonable, the food is great, and whether you want a burger, some scallops, or some pad thai, this is the place!"

Salsas could have had more heat but even if you get the "cachets" that has less grease it makes you think how greasy the original is. But yeah I may get the non greasy one here and there but nothing in the infamous Barbacoa that made me wanna come often. Haven't tried breakfast tacos. Tortilla was good though! (International location 6 am to 1 pm)"

One person had the cheeseburger and when he bit into it his face lit up and he said it was great. Homemade patty and toasted buns. The enchiladas were great and the Carne a sada was good. Refried beans and rice must have been good. No one had any food left on their platesI was told this is a great spot for breakfast I will have to check ot out"

"Why do i keep going to fried food places! well if its good its good and Johnny's is a good spot to pick up some seafood, not too crazy about their coleslaw so you can substitute for something else which is not bad. The location it self is a bit hard to find because its hiding and not in the open like other places, so make sure you have your GPS on to find this place! The staff are really friendly and greet you with a smile, their oysters are amazing! and would have to say just about the best when it comes to finding something in the North side of corpus. Overall, i know am coming back to order some more from here."
